Mardelas, the heavy metal band fronted by Marina Hebiishi (Vo), has released their music video for the lead track “Patriot Anthem” from their new single titled “Snake to the Fire”, which is the follow up to their masterpiece album “Mardelas IV”!
This single is the first for Mardelas to debut lyrics written entirely in English, and includes three newly written songs that pursue the pure sound of "heavy metal" (instrumental versions are also included). This is a new release from a band that has performed not only in Japan but also overseas numerous times. Mardelas has their eyes are set on the world! !
From 9/27 two songs from the single (“Patriot Anthem” and “ICE-PICK”) will be distributed in advance via streaming outlets (i.e. Spotify, Apple Music, Itunes, etc lnk.to/Snake_t... ), and the release tour will start from the Sendai show on 9/30 (Saturday). Exclusive CD sales for the single will begin with the start of the tour and only available at each live venue! Keep an eye on Mardelas' future activities!

Marina speaks good English-might request an interview Mr B. Saw this band's very first gig, at the Electric Lady show Aug. 2014 when they shared the bill with exist trace, Mary's Blood, Gacharic Spin, Doll$Boxx, Light Bringer, Bridear (speaking of which) among others. The band's original bassist and drummer were from Light Bringer, and LIght Bringer"s keyboardist Mao has worked with them (as well as Lovebites et al). Also saw them at Electric Lady in 2016 with Mary's Blood, Gacharic Spin, Disqualia (Nemophila Hazuki's old band), and Soramimi (Nemophila Tamu's old band).

I'm sorry, you saw Mardelas, Gacharic Spin, then Gacharic Spin with Fuki, then Fuki again with Lightbringer and Bridear - all in one evening? What the hell man, you could have called!
@@ragemage4984 Shows like that were/are common in Japan. I'm always surprised when I get replies like yours on English-speaking y t. I've lived and traveled overseas enough to know that there's no country with a band/club scene, particularly all-female bands, remotely comparable to Japan's. And yes, Fuki was busy that gig.
Marina has a very unique voice and her English is very good as well. They have uploaded several live clips over the past year, either self-bootlegged live videos or from their latest Blu-ray.
I am going to see if I can get to do an interview with them.

Great song, from a great band. Mardelas is one of my favorite band. They have that classic heavy metal sound. Marina is a great singer. Always have liked her since when she fronted Destrose 🤘
Yeah that riff hooked me straight away. I can't quite place my finger on what old school song it reminded me of but it could be Warrior Soul "Wasteland" cos Corey Clark had some of the coolest long hair in Metal.🤭

Too bad the drummer isn't an official member. He killed them drums. Mardelas somehow always have top notch support. Mardelas are on track again with this new single and concert dates through the end of Nov. It took three years to release their last album and the one before that one.
Yes, the drummer is really good let's hope they don't take so long with their new music.
Never let an OCD guy with political ideas go on the lyrics. I mean how many ways can you read the message if you dare go deeper than just another metal anthem inspired by the lots of old metal cover art that had nothing to really do with the actual songs. Just think Molly Hatchet in 1979 when they had the second slot at what is now Rock Im Park going on after Nils Lofgren and before Zanky and Company, Scorptions, Cheap Trick Miraim Makeeba and the Who.
Words are words it's just how other people interpret them.
@@OldMrB Amazing piece of wisdom right there. In this case it seems like it's just paying tribute to the metal forefathers and marketing the nostalgia factor to get more people to watch/listen. Personally I'm all for it, they are way underrated and deserve all the new fans they can get.
