  • A journey to Chin villages along Lemyo River in Rakhine state of Myanmar is a charming voyage to simple yet fulfilling way of life. It is a true inspiration for those of us who live in contemporary cities driven by consumer capitalism. The journey took place on March 31st 2016, during the dry-hot season, when children are on vacation, thus roam everywhere and participate in domestic duties.

I'm from Mizoram, a state in Northeast India. Many of our fellow Mizo speaking brothers and sisters reside in the Chin state of Myanmar. Even if you cross International borders beyond the Tiau river, you would still feel as if you are in the Lushai Hills. Respect to our Mizo brethren of the Chin Hills of Myanmar. God willing, one day we will reunite.
