The cinematics of the video are great! I think you would do well with vlogs if that was something your interested in. Good luck moving to Korea. I hope you have a swift and easy time making the transition!
Thank you ever so much and I am pleased you enjoyed the cinematic of the video. I will make sure to do more vlogs in Korea. Would be great to share with all. 😊
Great, Martin! I extend my heartfelt wishes for your success, as well as the prosperity and well-being of your family. May this endeavor bring you fruitful results and open new doors of opportunity. Best wishes to you on this journey!
I watched this video when it came out, guess I forgot to comment.. I'm extremely sad that you're moving from the UK before we could grab a cuppa together. Your videos are great and you seem like a great person to hang out with! That said, I do wish you all the best with your move and also wishing you luck and success in all your future projects!
Many thanks for your comment and if you have the opportunity to visit Korea, then I would be happy to help as a guide. I also appreciate your support on my Channel and I am sad that we couldn't meet in England. Take care and I shall be sharing my updates on my RUclips as things progress, but for the moment I will be taking things a little easier before the rather stressful move to Korea! 😅
Martin, I wish you and your family all the best in your move to Korea. I look forward to collaborating once you get settled there. I'm sure you'll get through all the challenges. Stay strong, stay positive.
All the best with your move! I moved from Italy to the UK three times (and didn't have a partner with me) before settling in Italy for good, got my Ph.D. the first time. It's a bit of a nightmare but you have your family to support you, your partner is from there, and you know the place pretty well. It'll be fine 👍🙂
Thanks ever so much and my parents live in the South of France too. I hope you have a wonderful summer and I can’t wait to share more about my experience in Korea in the coming months. 😊
Thank you Catherine. I’m looking forward to returning back to my wife’s place of birth. We can’t wait and I’ll have to update with a future video soon. Take care and have a splendid weekend. Martin 😊
@@ELTExperiences Hi! I need to ask you something, please. You passed the CELTA course with PASS B, how many Above Standard did you get to achieve the B?
@@ELTExperiences I've got so far 4 Standard and 3 Above Standard. My last TP will be next weekend and I'd like to know if I still hold a chance to get a B
Welcome back! You're right that most universities tend to hire from within Korea, but there are exceptions. Woosong University in Daejeon is/was one of them. I have worked there twice and have friends who have continued to work there for years and years. I'd recommend giving them a look!
I'll second the recommendation to look at Woosong. They are currently either hiring or will soon be hiring for the fall, they sponsor your visa, and will hire those from out of Korea.
I’m actually moving back this Sunday with family. I have a video out soon updating what happened but I’ll be moving to Daejeon and starting a job at a university from 1 September. It would be great to meet up. 😊
I lived in korea for 5 years i fully understand that part of the culture Why dont you work on your outward appearance if youre moving to a country so focused on the physical. Its not too difficult.
Thank you for your support and comment. Finally in Korea and enjoying the most it has to offer. Fortunately I have succeeded in gaining employment and have moved on to a university.
Great news! Watching the video now!
Will welcome you.
Thanks Eric as always. I hope to be able to move near Daegu in Korea. 😊
Hope it all went well. Change is never easy.

Best of luck to you and your family. I'm sure you'll be fine. And thank you for being my "mentor" in my preparation for the CELTA.
I appreciate that!
Best wishes and that sounds so inspiring... life change and new exciting horizons - will you be continuing with all your great YT videos - hope so 🌞🍀
Thank you and I cannot wait to share more content when I move to Korea. 😊
Great news! All the best on your big move 😊 can't wait to see more of your vlog style videos!

Where about in South of France are your parents living? I live in Cannes by the way
Ah that's nice you live in Cannes. My parents are an hour south of Toulouse in a very small hamlet.
Good luck for your move! Sorry to see you go but completely understand your reasons

Thanks. It’s going to be a difficult time but things will improve and become clearer nearer the date we leave.
