    Water Lock Mode is available on the following Samsung Wearables; Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Fit2, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic, the Galaxy Watch Active series, Gear Fit2 Pro, and Gear Sport.
    How to Enable Water Lock Mode?
    There are three ways to enable water lock mode. Three methods are from within the Galaxy Watch settings, and the fourth option is through the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone.
    Water Lock Mode automatic activation
    If you manually start a swim tracking activity on your galaxy smartwatch, then Water Lock Mode will be enabled automatically.
    How to enable water lock mode from the Galaxy Wearable app
    versions of the Galaxy Wearable app. But at the time of writing this post, and double-checking with my own Galaxy Watch 4 it’s no longer available in the latest version of the Galaxy Wearable app. Here's how it works.
    1) With the Galaxy Watch connected to your smartphone, launch the Galaxy Wearable app and click Watch Settings.
    2) Next, scroll down and click Advanced Features.
    3) Finally, tap on Water Lock Mode and turn it on.
    If for whatever reason you don’t find the Water Lock Mode in the Quick Settings Menu of your Galaxy Watch 4, then don’t panic. Because you can still enable it in the Main Settings Menu of your smartwatch as follows:
    How to enable Water Lock Mode from the Watch Settings
    1) From the Galaxy Watch 4’s Home Screen, swipe up to reveal your apps.
    2) Next scroll down until you find the Settings Icon.
    3) Then click settings and again scroll down to Advanced Features.
    4) Now click Advanced Features.
    5) The Water lock Mode should be the first option in this sub-menu.
    6) Finally, click on Water Lock Mode to enable it.
    How to enable Water Lock Mode from the Quick Settings Menu
    1) Swipe down to access your quick settings menu once more.
    2) Then click and hold any icon for one second to activate edit mode
    3) Now swipe to the third screen and click the “plus button” to reveal more quick settings options.
    4) Finally, click on the two water droplets, and they would be added back to the quick settings menu.
    How to disable Water Lock Mode on the Galaxy Watch
    To disable water lock mode, press and hold the Galaxy Watch’s Home Button for 2 to 3 seconds. After disabling it, the smartwatch will play a sound to vibrate its speakers and pump out water from the speaker grill. Samsung recommends that whenever your smartwatch gets wet, you should shake it lightly to remove any water before using it.

    I am amazed by the water ejection feature, its unfortunate that there is no warranty for water damage as of now, hoping they would have one in the future ! Thank you for the video

      None of these tech companies would be willing to provide a water damage warranty. Unless you decide to pay extra.

    The galaxy watch 4 is water resistant up to 50 meters. But be careful with salt water and chlorinated water. Always rinse the watch with fresh water afterwards.

    There's no way to 'Pause' the time during a long swim, if I want to take a break. My older Galaxy Gear Fit Pro allowed this. Hopefully Samsung fixes this during updates

    another quest.. when water lock mode is on, the watch goes to watch face pointers, if you spin the bezel, it will enter in menu or even rotating nothing happens ?^thx

    • @nebaa
      @nebaa  Год назад

      If water lock mode is on when you are swim tracking, the rotating bezel will only scroll through your stats on the swimming page. It wont leave the swim tracking page.
      But if you enable water lock mode without any activity tracking turned on, the bezel will still be able to scrol through your watch tiles or watch pages.

    • @M4R10_
      @M4R10_ Год назад

      @@nebaa i just want to say is = when active, if i rotate the bezel, the pointers will desappear by entering in another main function or something ? because i know that it prevent accidental screen taps and wake-up gestures, BUT turning the bezel ? it prevents too ?

    I went running in the rain with the watch on, it didn't like that at all, it stopped tracking properly and started recording splits/ km every 5 or so seconds instead of every 6/7 mins, no idea why and I couldn't do anything about it as my hands and the watch were both soaked

    I knew the feature was a scam. They encourage you to get moisture in there yet don't offer any kind of warranty for when it inevitably does fail. What a rip.
