Based on the key art reveals for the *Gamera: Rebirth* designs of Gamera and Gyaos, it seems like they might've reused the designs seen in the 50th anniversary short film here!
They actually bring the designer of the monster's in this short as the creature designer for Gamera rebirth
@@snm_nendra Absolutely amazing! It's like how the director of *Godzilla: Minus One* basically utilized his Godzilla design from "The Ride" which looks like an improvement over his original "dream Godzilla" design from a previous film he directed.
Gamera is slightly different. Maybe gyaos too but I can see quite a few differences for Gamera rebirth and Gamera 2015
This would have been the coldest Kaiju movie in fiction if it was a legit movie Man. Really excited to see what that new anime is going to do with the big turtle

It's too bad the current Monsterverse won't include Gamera. He is a perfect fit for the Hollow earth and ancient races theme. The same goes for an updated version of Megalon.
Dude this Short film was absolutely amazing when I first saw it! This Gamera design may honestly be my favorite.
So glad I can revisit this in full and in 4k, and I'm super hyped for the new Anime coming out!
Yea it’s a really great and cool design for Gamera, but it’s only my second favorite design, I really do still love his design in Gamera 3 Revenge of Iris. Man what a movie that was

Gyaos are a lot scarier in this film since they go out of their way to eat a singl random person.
Real shame that this never gave rise to a movie. It would’ve been a guaranteed hit!
It would have also made a great contrast to the Godzilla of the Monster-Verse, who usually doesn’t give a crap about humanity.

Now that I'm looking at it. I think that squid monster was supposed to be Viras.
I was originally thinking of the Legion until I noticed that it had that little space distortion ability. Which even the likes of the Legion did not possess.
@@dragmaXE Plus Legion didn't have tentacles. So I think it's Viras.
Legion did have those red tentacles when she got mad
In the background you can actually see some of the Gyaos use their sonic scalpel, but in the moments where they need it the most, they didn’t bother to use it .__.
