its so refreshing seeing adult alterhumans, i see like 8-14 yos all the time who thing being a therian is doing quads and wearing a mask (not all ofc but A LOT), its kind of exhausting lol. i wish i could someday find a group or even one friend i could be myself around and go on adventures in the wild like this!

When i see THOSE therians, i really start to understand where the hate comes from, there's times i feel a bit embarassed to be associated with the community. See i am still very young but i have been here since i was 9 years old, i remember the OG "greymuzzles" and elders from therian guide, a few of them were litterally 70 years old, Now since tiktok has taken over it isn't the same

@@vanillauwu1844 Thats so sad oml. my little 12yo sister has a friend who also calls herself a therian(or just puts the symbol in the tt username), but i really doubt she knows what it means. A lot of young kids think theyre therians for just playing animals BECAUSE theyre kids, and because its 'trendy' and 'aesthetic' now, what a shame

You turned our adventures in such a cool and cohesive product that truly shows the real meaning of therianthropy. Each of us pack member's bits also nicely tied into the narrative, so everyone gets their little time in the spotlight. You really outdid yourself with this one Thorn. Through the years ive been pretty off and on about believing whether therianthropy is a real thing or if I'm just like.. an autistic kid, but this really helped me realize that the things I experience and what I go through is really an experience that is on purpose and MEANT to happen! The universe is a vast and confusing thing, and we will never understand the depths of our very own identities, but we can be sure as hell that we are REAL. This was a wonderful documentary

Whooooh! This is such a beautiful documentary! It's truly fascinating to hear everyone's stories about experiencing both therianthropy and alterhumanity in their own ways. For someone like me who's rather "unfamiliar" with various aspects when it comes to therians and alterhumans in general (aside from some of the basic knowledge), it was such a pleasure learning more about them and their experiences. Without any doubts an incredible documentary, it was worth every single second watching! ❤

You have no idea how much I envy the fact you guys can just be yourselves, in a pack. As someone who has two wolf theriotypes (Mackenzie river/valley wolf and black wolf) you have no idea what I would give to be with other wolf therians, and just act out all my urges and instincts without judgement. Thank you for making this, it honestly reminded me to get away from the screen and remember what alterhumanity really is. It’s not masks, it’s not tails, it’s not getting a popular RUclips channel, it’s not quads, it’s an identity. Sometimes I love it. Sometimes I hate it. And I can’t control that this is who am. This documentary basically summed up my life briefly.

It’s much harder to connect with older therians in real life now but I am attempting to slowly build a pack even if the two folks near me are a few years younger. And I completely agree with the thing about therians tending to take care of the environment. Your Wildlings pack is so well-spoken. It was interesting to get to know them a bit more! The film and music was excellent too. I actually started shifting while watching this, but I was subconsciously scanning my body or hair which makes me species dysphoric. I like how Wyta described it... like there's this energy inside that wants to come out, but can't. If only there was a desert, forest, or something I can escape to instead of being conformed to live in this suburban hell. Anyway, it was very calming watching this. Same, I also like what wolf said about how they don’t really feel like they’re themselves without the gear, and how it’s a more accurate representation of themself, and that everyone has a different way of expressing themselves. Because it’s sad that the internet has normalized therians being associated with qaudrobist and gear and vocals, because I rarely wear gear and when I do it’s normally only the tail. And it makes me feel more like myself like how wolf explained it, and how it just feels more normal. I’ve always felt like I was missing a part of me when I was really little, I always drew myself with animalistic parts because it felt more normal than without it, and I would always have the urge to just climb trees and splash around in water and just do stuff that wasn’t really “normalized” by humans. Stuff that is viewed as weird and “wrong”. And as I got older that urge grew stronger and I started to get phantom shifts which would ease my dysphoria (which I thought there was just something wrong with me at the time) and I tried doing research on this and that’s kinda how I “awakened”. I still don’t really have anyone I can be “myself” around tho.
Also Srry this is so long thx for reading whoever does TvT

When I first heard of Therianthropy, I heard it incorrectly; I heard Therian Therapy. So I thought expressing myself in an animalistic manner might help me. Besides I was a lot of fun to let my inside animalistic instincts run wild. (No pun intended 😅) I eventually realized it was Therianthropy. That made me keep scrolling, trying to find more information. Eventually I found your page, and I learned about the actual meaning. I brought it up to my friend who now identifies as a Therian. I finally decided I was not a Therian which kinda disappointed me. I still followed my animal instincts though. I found that I still felt like I had a connection to two certain animals: a squirrel and an ant. I heard about other kin and otherhearted people. At this point I know I have an ant kin type, and I’m still questioning being a squirrel Therian. Along with these conclusions I have realized that I have predated instincts too. Still figuring it out.

When I was younger I knew nothing about therianthropy. I just ran on all fours and acted like an animal. I didn't have much hate since, you know I was a kid- and kids will be kids, but it wasn't until 6th grade when I met my first girlfriend. She was a therian and she taught me a lot of things about being a therian, alterhumanity ect. Sadly she turned out to not be a therian and was actually pretty mean. After we broke up I chose a path for myself- to continue to study alterhumanity and to be free. I tell myself that humans are a part of nature. Even if it seems that humanity is destroying nature I know it won't be the end just yet. I know humans will find their senses and figure it out. I'm still not sure what theriotype I am but I will always find motivation with your videos thorn. Love you for live PEACE OUT ✌ ❤

i used to hate therians and the reason why was because it reminded me of how i used to run on all fours when i was 6-8 years old, i never knew what therians or quadrobics were i just thought it was fun and I always pretended to be a dog, anyway i figured out what therians were about a year ago (?) and i hated them ever since like maybe April of this year, the reason i didnt like em was because some of my family told me it was weird and that I wasn’t actually a dog when i was way younger and so i just started hating them because some of my family thought it was weird, im a quadrobist now (not a very good one i can only walk and canter) but uhhhh yeah!!! thanks for reading my essay on this

I’m still in a really big question about my alterhumanity. When I was 10-11 years old, I took the therian label without looking much into it. It seemed so natural at first. But, when I did look into it, I was like “wait..is this really me?” I knew the difference between both a therian and a furry, but I took the label without looking more into it. And I’m not afraid to say that. I was young, and wanted to be apart of something. When I turned 12, I really looked into it. Seeing that it could be psychologically induced through trauma got me thinking a little. For the longest time, my favorite animal was a wolf, and it even got to the point I considered my family or friend groups as a “pack”. After really digging into Alterhumanity, I later figured out I was also a dragon! Once I “awakened the flame” as I call it personally, I’ve had a lot of urges that I can barely control. Collecting shiny things like rings, crystals, necklaces, etc, have been a regular for me. I have upper back pains where my wings would be, and small tail and horn shifts along with it. If I have a wolf shift, it’s usually my ears, and they usually only “appear” when something is hurting my head, loud, I’m irritated, or I hear something interesting. My tail shifts are very rare, and if I get them, my tail is usually wagging or tucked close to me. I often have very strong urges to take a walk in the woods or forest, but due to my mother’s strict nature, that’s only in my mind. I’m currently doing research both within myself and online about another theriotype I might have. I feel like I was apart of some kind of police or marine force. I made that assumption due to the constant feeling that I get when I wear my chocker, or my smartwatch. Being an alterhuman is both a way for me to “escape” reality, and remind myself how unique we can be. Gear is a hit or miss with me, mostly because my mother, my age, and the creepy people out there. I want to wear a collar, I want to wear my tail, I want to do quads. But I’m unable to do any of that. I’ve tried to explain to my mother exactly what a therian is, but she doesn’t listen sometimes, and thinks I’m a furry or s3xually attracted to animals. (those are z0oph!les). Nonetheless, she thinks I think I’m a cat, and calls me a “feline” sometimes. I’ve reminded her time and time again that I am a canine, and to do research before she starts making all these claims. She’s done neither. I have a loving and supportive girlfriend who accepts me for who I am, and has done her research into it. Her younger sister, (10 y.o) had also looked into it, and awakened as a raccoon a few months ago. I’m glad I’ve helped others awaken, and help them see that they don’t have to fit into a system that is so cruel. Maybe, when I have the money, and the research done, I can get myself a collar, and help ease my pain. I’m grateful and jealous that you can go to certain areas like the woods or forests, and express yourself without shame. I highly encourage you to keep doing this.

I loved the ending part. One of the ways I've coped with my therianthropy is finding ways to live as a human closer to nature. Over the past few years I've been learning how to tan hides. This summer I feel like I'm starting to become more independent. I love hide tanning so much because it is such a human process that is genuinely just fun to do, and in some senses it makes the wolf side of me really happy. Being able to work with an animal that as a wolf I would have hunted and eaten, and as a human am getting a chance to turn into a useable textile- It's just really nice. I have run into therians local to me, but they are all a few years younger than I am and I am a pretty shy person. I want to work on coming out of my shell more and chatting to them about therianthropy.

It’s cool to see a therian documentary made from the perspective of actual therians and alter human. How you guys and possibly many others feel is starting to make more sense to me.
Right now I don’t think I’m a therian, alter human, or otherhearted, but this makes me want to question myself and do more research just to be sure:)

I might make a pack for other paws and Wolfwalkers(basically a name I call my friends since we’re all quadrobists and love that movie) I’m probably gonna do it when I meet up with them at school again.

This was an awesome documentary. Living in a bustling city, i fear there’s not too many alterhuman/therians here and sometimes i feel alone. I will say ive never been judged for wearing gear in public (just tails ive worn) which is great, wish i had a pack though. There’s much more i could say than this but i loved this video

Thank you so much for making this, I absolutely loved it and it honestly helped me understand my Alterhuman Identity a little better as a new-ich Therian I didn’t really understand why this was happening to me and how ( all I really knew was that I experience involuntary animalistic experiences and urges but I didn’t really know why this was happening to me) now I really understand that it’s for a reason and I’m meant to be this way and the ‘how is this happening to me’ makes I bit more sense now but I think I’m gonna do some research and thy to figure out what the source of my Therianthopy is.Again thanks so much for making this documentary and I hope it help others understand themselves a little better to!

  • @ghosttown5389

ok, so i know im late, but ive been seriously contemplating. I think i might be a therian? because i seriously hate having a human body, i get really dyphoric about it, I mean, why do we stand up on 2 legs? why dont we have tails? or pointy ears like other animals? then i found the therian comunity, and a lot more made sense, but im still not sure. Ive made a tail out of yarn and the weight feels really comforting and i wear it to help me sleep. whenever i hear something off in the distance, i get a quick image of these pointy ears moving around to try and capture the sound, and i really feel like i should have a longer face if that makes sense? like a muzzle of a dog or something. I have had a ton of dreams about foxes running around in feilds, or me running on all fours but im still human. Im notsure if its a dream shift or all the reaserch that ive been doing translating to my dreams. im still trying to figure this out, and im not complety sure if any of this makes me a therian or not, so if anyone could comment their opinion, it would really help :)
