    I have the same mill, and i too also learned on a bp. But this machine is highly capable, but the set up shown here is not very rigid. I run all end mills straight out of the mt2 collet, forget the er, because it just adds length and reduces rigidity. And like someone mentioned, an actual proper milling vice not held down by precariously place nuts, i made my own clamps and have an awesome set up with this mill, and you can take some serious cuts.
    And i have also made an auto feed using 3d printed stuff, its not a bad idea at all.

    They seem to want more money for it, than what it will do. Especially on some steal cuts.

      Two years ago I would have agreed but now with the inflation and tariffs its hard to find anything new for a fair price. I think $600 would have been a better price.

    The machine is fine in fact really god. But your vice is too light the fixing is Even worse. Get 3"-4" vice End a cheap fixing kit and your ruffcuts is gone! Trust me i done the same mistake and cheaping out on a vice is not Worth it
