As another sensitive person, I'd like to tell you how much I and others I'm sure, appreciate the lovely risk and generosity of your willing]ness to share yourself on this platform. I see and value and am very often inspired by what you offer. I'm still haunted by your sweater which combines pale green wool with lavender mohair to yield an etherial blueish shade. Lovely! Thank you, Helle.

Hey Helle, thanks for sharing and showing us a little part of your life again!
And if I may... I looked at the comments on the "windy" video and most ppl seemed to say they didn't mind. I always get so sad when you are apologizing for something that you're doing basically without getting paid for and that you're just doing because you're enjoying sharing your wonderful things/experiences. Yes, there may be the odd one out that feels entitled to complain about everything. Most of us though are just happy and here for the ride, no matter where it will take you. Don't give those complainers room in your head! We love your videos!

Hello from Australia. I so LOVE your podcast. Regarding the comments about your “windy” last podcast, pffft! I love it when you’re out in your garden. People need to realise the world isn’t there to please their needs & sensitivities. We as adults need to make decisions, really hard ones like watching something else🙄 Don’t let others change your way & spontaneity. I know you know all this but wanted to say I so appreciate the effort you go to, to bring to the world something that is lovely. Your projects are divine, classy & timeless. I love Natasha Hornsby’s designs, another wonderfully talented lady. Can’t wait for the next podcast xx

Hi Helles ❤ thank you for again taking all the time recording , editing in order to present this awesome video doing the deep dive into your knitting experience with your gorgeous sweaters Agave and Seoul🤩 it was also wonderful seeing the fashion show organized to highlight Natasja’s beautiful knitwear… that was so fun! So just before I viewed your video I was reading on Ravelry a tip a test knitter shared about roe gauge. It was for the Cannelloni sweater by Svetlana Volkova. The test knitter inaholst was having trouble with her row gauge…the front of the sweater has cables and her row gauge was 27 vs the pattern’s 22 to 4”/10 cm. The designer explained that since her row gauge was 23% more than the patterns she needed to multiply the pattern’s row dimensions by 1.23% so if there were 4 rows between the patterned row multiply those by 1.23% (in the instaof this particular knitter) and she would then have the additional rows needed to keep her project in sync with the pattern. Not sure I’m explaining this week enough but is you look at the project notes by inaholst maybe this information might be helpful. Also regarding rio he and Nutiden… buckle up because here I go….Albiona McLochlainn uses Nutiden frequently in her patterns. So I looked at Lastlong Cardigan which is knit in Fisherman’s rib (similar to Brioche but different) Made by Julieschappe she has some interesting info on Nutiden held single, held double and last held with mohair…it’s worth a read. But more helpful might be Fluff Nugget by Sopranoknits. This is a brioche cardigan the information she provides regarding the quantity of Nutiden required for her pattern is based on one plate, approximately 100 grams , with about 563 yds. The smallest sized cardigan holding Nutiden double requires 3 plates which she states is 718 yds. So I’m not sure how much yardage is needed for the FiberTales pattern and whether you would need to hold Nutiden double or if you could possibly hold it single (with mohair maybe) but you might be closer to figuring this out with some of the information these knitters have posted. ugh sorry about the lengthy response but hopefully some of this with be helpful if not then interesting 😄have a lovely time with your beautiful WIPs 😍

Hi Hele. Thank you again for such a wonderful episode. I absolutely loved your quote. I just turned 60 and mentally had a difficult time with it. But you’re right. We are energy. As to the windy episode, it didn’t bother me one bit and it burns me when you tell us about complaints from viewers. If they don’t like it, then turn it off and catch the next one. Why waste perfectly good “energy” on negativity. So unhealthy and selfish. Your knits are always so stunning and you really stretch yourself and challenge yourself. I commend you for that. I’ve mentioned before how my husband and I enjoy your travel episodes, as well as your musings. I appreciate you. Patricia from California.

I also suspected from the first that you were also an HSP 😊 I bought my bookstore in 1996, the year that Elaine Aron’s book was published and hit the bestseller list. Of course I read it immediately at the age of 39 and all the lights started coming on. My son and his son and my daughter’s daughter all follow me well, but thankfully having read the book and shared it with my children way back then, life has been easier in many respects for all of us. Of course there is always more to learn. I appreciate all of your sharing, including the patterns and yarns. 😉

Another HSP here. I love the knits you have done, Helle, although they would not suit me as I am quite booby, but I enjoy seeing them on you. They suit you so well❤ Thank you for sharing your knitting experiences with us ❤

Enjoyed your adventures in knitting. Your Seoul Sweater is beautiful. Coincidentally, I recently started the Artus Shawl by Natasja. Her patterns are amazing.

Thank you for the book recommendation. I really enjoyed watching the Natasha Hornsby fashion show. I especially admired the shawl that was inspired by Marrakech. It’s now in my Ravelry favorites.
Your work is beautiful. Your videos are enjoyable. 💕

The minute you said "bleek", I said The Road. It had been about 10 years since I read that book and that was the word I used to describe it back then. That book left me feeling empty - like the world and our existence was hopeless.
On a better note, your knits were beautiful and I'm glad you had a great time with Natasja Hornby - she sounds like a wonderful person. Don't worry too much about audio quality or background noise - most of your viewers love your content as is and don't mind me beautiful sounds of life. The Woolly Worker posted a video on the crochet reinforced neckline - very helpful.
Hope you have a wonderful time in Paris.

I attended Natasja’s knitting retreat on Texel last year and agree with you, she is a very special woman, totally welcoming and down to earth. Trouble is , I can’t decide which of her patterns to knit next, they’re so elegant and intriguingly charming.

Wow such a lovely episode and full of beautiful things ❤ Thank you for sharing all you have been knitting on and the lovely Natasja Hornby. The pattern that struck me while she was showing her pattern samples was the Clint shawl and it’s in my Ravelry favourite already. I have quilted in the past and that quilt star in that shawl is stunning 🤩
