The F16 in DCS is $80 full price. For that you get it immediately and have a full featured module to explore AtA, AtG , SEAD, Navigation, instrument and all weather capability. Also, you have the option of solo, Multiplayer PVP and PVE options. I like Warthunder because the games are quick and they help with understanding the movement in 3 dimensional space without all the cold start and taxying of DCS.
I think it's safe to conclude the following then - are you a gamer and a war enthusiast? War thunder has the arcade simplifications covered. Are you an avionics guy in your heart? Planning to do this stuff IRL even? DCS is your homie
6:00 While DCS F-16 has a much more powerfull F110-GE-129, all the upgraded avionics apparently decreased the plane's nose authority compared to earlier models, so at some speed it might be due to that... Maybe. At higher speeds, of course, it would G-Force limited.
It is a much better rate fighter tho and tighter radius, but one circle nose authority is worse, like the f5e and f5c, F5C better at aoa (one circle) while the F5E is better at the two circle but worse aoa. I'm sure you understand what I'm saying
6:00 When you did the climb test did you forgot to set the speed option for the WT F16 to indicated airspeed which the DCS F16 is measured by. If you look at the mach number for both, the F16C is faster.
