Question 1: Is it possible to include a search option in the drop-down list?
Question 2: Your video only shows the user can only submit one entry. Is it possible to create a selection list and submit it once?

Im looking to do something like this BUT... i would like when i choose the an option of the fiest field, automatically fill all the other fields, according to the entries data of that option...
In your case when you select an option in the first field the other fields dont show anything ultil you press them and choose what you want, i want it shows the first option instead of nothing.
    Is itnpossible?

Hi, would I be able to put the results of a submitted form by a user, into a weekly planner for example? They choose options from a drop down form and that gets printed into a timetable slot?

Yes! Our Formidable Views front end lets you display a calendar for users, and you can have them input events by dropdown (or text field or radio button etc).
This is a good idea for a video, I'll try to do one on it soon!

Is there any way to limit who can access the form based on a column within a csv file?

    • @FormidableForms
      @FormidableForms  2 года назад +1

I guess I'm not understanding what you want to do with the form. Is the form on a certain page of your site and you want to limit access to that page? What does that column in your csv file contain, an email?

@@FormidableForms I’m trying to build a wedding website within WordPress and would like to limit access to the RSVP form to only those who I’ve put on my invite list (so that I don’t get random responses). In my mind the user would enter their first and last name then the list would drop down and ask if they are bringing the plus one I have in my list plus dietary restrictions etc. Do you know if this is possible

Is it possible to have unique dynamic URL redirect for each unique set of selections.

    • @FormidableForms

Yes! You can use inline conditions in the redirect when someone clicks the submit button, sending them to whatever URL you'd like.

What's missing here is I should be able to calculate a saved data from a Lookup form.
For example I have a lookup field, then there's a data for interest rates on option A, interest rates for option B, and so on.
    Example is like this.
    Option A: 33.33%
    Option B: 21.22%
    Option C: 12.12%
Then I select Option A on the look-up field. It will show the % rate for that option.
However, I cannot use that interest rate value if I don't select it. I should be able to use that value in a number field without selecting the value in the look-up field as there's only 1 result.
Right now if I have a look-up field that's watching another look-up field and there's only 1 value on that field. It won't set it as default value. So I need to select it again. O__O

Anyway, I already contact support and they confirmed that this feature isn't built-in formidable forms yet. Looking forward for it to be built-in.

@@bertussss nope. This needs extending the features of the current formidable plugin.
Work around is add a hidden field, copy the value to the hidden field and make it auto calculate.

This tutorial seems to follow bad logic. What is the relationship of year with makers. They could be of any year. The real dependcy we need to show that car models depend on which car maker you select. That was the point she did not clarify properly.
