  • Richard D. Archer, DDS, MS, at VCU School of Dentistry, explains the concept of the Buccal Object Rule, also known as the SLOB (Same Lingual Opposite Buccal) Rule, which can help to identify relative position of objects (such as tooth roots) in dental radiographs.
