This brings me to tears. Any illness slowly attacking the brain of someone you love is just the most painful thing. My mom was diagnosed schizophrenic when I was about 11 and watching her deteriorate over the years was gut wrenching. Not even because she was losing her mind, not even because we were losing her, but because she was so deeply frightened and nothing could fix it. I felt so helpless. I choose to hold on to the special little moments, singing in the car, her helping me study over pizza. Taking a trip to her childhood home on the east coast. We did have some really lovely times her last couple years on this earth. I miss her so much. Although she was too young when she left this earth, I have faith she is finally at peace now. 🙏🏼
There are 3 young men from Ukraine in my apartment building now. One lives alone and two are roommates. I'm glad they have each other and are here safe. I see them laughing and just being normal 18-22 year olds. They have such a good spirit.
❤Treasure every moment you have with your mom. I loved my mom dearly & she had this horrible disease Alzihemers! It ribs you of saying the things towards the end. My mom got so where she couldn't talk,just mumble,but she always got it out I want to go home. She went hime to be with the lord it will be 2yrs. This October. She was my best friend, we did everything together. I'm lost without her!❤ I'll be praying for you& your mom. May god bless you both😢
