It's been going on for years in prisons it's the same here in England.
@@mikeeverett8012 I'm sure with all his shady connections over the years it was quite easy to pay people to do whatever he wants. Let's face it the whole family have been paying people off for decades. He acts just like a fully fledged criminal constantly looking for anyway possible to screw people and by using his position of power to manipulate the system to make millions in insurance scams etc. You would think making $2m yr as a salary would be enough especially living in one of the cheapest areas in the country in rural South Carolina. Because of his greed and ruthless ways he now has to live on about $10 A day for the rest of his life. Most people if they made 2m over a 20 year period they could live quite a luxurious lifestyle on 100k yr but no not Alex. I really believe he had a big gambling problem and that's were all the money was going, you hear him on the jail phone calls saying he won on 9 out of 11 NFL bets and is always asking the scores from college games also asking Buster how was Vegas. It's so easy to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars literally in hours if you have addiction problems like Alex it makes much more sense than saying he spent 50k wk on Oxycontin. Obviously he doesn't want to admit he was putting 100 grand bets on with the money he stole but by saying he had a drug problem he thinks people would understand because it's so rampant these days. If he said crack no one could doubt he could have spent 50k wk cause that drug is known to financially break people. Opioid drugs are so different cause once you take a certain amount you either pass out or OD so you can't spend thousands a day like you can with Cocaine which has the exact opposite effect of opioid drugs.
No!! He was not concerned about respecting them with flowers on occasions, ABSOLUTELY not true! He wanted his son to call Maggie's parents, her wealthy aging parents to make sure they knew he wanted flowers on the grave, thats just him trying to reach them and manipulate them into using the power their good reputation still had to back him and its DISGUSTING!!!!
Id imagen Their would still be a place to leave flowers. Regardless thats the point of his asking buster to make sure he tells her parents about his desire to by flowers.. Regardless if he means for the funeral, the plot, or just in general.. its all the same point..
Maggie and Alex both brought their sons up believing that they lived by different rules than other people. Even as toddlers they were unrestrained terrors!
How delusional can Alex be to think that anyone would ever hire a Murdaugh lawyer again? Despite the fact that Buster was already kicked out of law school!
“Every day I’m in here now is one less day I’m in here in the long run.” Lmao enjoy that double life sentence. He was so confident he’d get off on that. But nope! A video placed him at the crime scene lmao

How does he sleep at night after all the destruction he has done? It’s amazing. He hurt so many people and yet he had so many very close friends and he seemed to have no care in what he did to all of them.
Is family acts like this is normal no big deal. He ruined the family business, Murdered his own son and Wife, stole millions , possibly murdered others and they treat him like a victim I'd want answers and I would be livid .
That bit at the end about his mother, who has Alzheimer's, wondering why Alex doesn't come to visit anymore.....what a horrible human he is. Wow. No one is immune to the suffering he inflicts.
Thank you Glenn Smith. I don’t get the impression Buster is keen to be an attorney. You shouldn’t need to pester your adult child into a career you have chosen for them. No mention is made about finding the real killers?
He's merely an heir to the (imaginary) estate. He's got to carry on the family tradition so the name and reputation remain in tact for future generations. That's how the rich do it. They keep the bloodline and going by any means necessary. We've all seen this movie before with the Bush's and Clinton's and Kennedy's. All that money power and prestige leads to some sordid situations. Just read the book Secret Empires by Paul Schweitzer.

He really thought he was getting out, didn't he? Funny to hear the attorney who didn't know about either writs of habeas corpus or mandamus hammering Buster to study hard.
Of course, for the entire life him, his father, his grandfather.. not ONE TIME have they been held accountable. And, this was a very close call, look how many ppl still think he should have been found not guilty, even after all the truth on every channel it nearly worked.
He needed his family and friends on the outside to have belief , this narrative is just part of his power and life long skill to getting what he wants- he knows he just needs to convince a person he is and will remain in charge in some way, form or fashion no matter how things look , so don’t cross him , and even if the person has doubt, they have to figure the majority around will still follow the leader , and it will come back against them if they reject the wishes of the leader - this will all now no doubt fade to black with the loss of the inevitable appeals to come
I have been closely watching the turns in this case. AM arrogance has been his down fall. It is my opinion that Alec absolutely committed the murders. And he did them alone. His primary target was Paul and Maggie was collateral damage which he was obliged to kill also. They were asking for 30 million dollars in the Beach case. Killing Paul was anger and greed manifest and Alec knew he could not kill Paul if Maggie was alive. It was to prevent a loss of his stolen money by killing Paul and Maggie. She would have known if he killed Paul alone. The murder weapons and bloody clothes were hidden in a prearranged spot in the nearby woods. He made approximately 250 steps that no one has explained. I suggest dividing the steps in half and searching in a radius from the kennels for the weapons and bloody items. He had only under clothes on when he called 911. No one came to that remote private property to murder a mother and son without weapons and for unknown reason using family weapons. Then the first words out AM mouth was he "knowed" it was about the boat incident. Well he was correct. Paul represented a 30 million dollar liability. And Maggie was onto his addiction and was separated from him living in another home. Even if she did not want a divorce he couldnt get away with killing Paul if Maggie was alive. He is lying about the scale of his oxy habit to hide the almost 10 million he stole. It is mostly gone but he does have resources and hidden money. It is all secret code when he says to have uncle go pick up "his" possessions or pay him back for that "loan". Also we dont have further phone recordings bc at the same time he figured out how to place and use money from indigent inmates canteen accounts he figured out how to put money and use other inmates calling card codes. I was from a very powerful prestigious wealthy family in the south and happened to go to prison for 6 years for a crime i did not commit. So i have a unique understanding of AM background. He actually is a psychopath without a conscience. He is very very fortunate for the continued family support he enjoys. There is no plausible alternative to the vicious murders of Maggie and Paul. The closest thing to a confession was given on the stand when he said whoever killed Paul had hate for him and anger in their heart. The attorney for Beach was after his financial records and had threatened to file on Maggie and Paul. Alec did have anger and hatred in his heart toward anyone who threatened to cost him money or expose or interfere with his ongoing thefts and addiction. The murder weapons are hidden 125 steps from the kennel in a hollowed tree trunk or in a pre-dug hole which is why they have not been located and accounts for the 240 steps that cant be explained. The power and privilege this family enjoyed for a century could have been used for the betterment of their whole community but instead was abused and destroyed by a self serving anti-social narcissist. God bless the many victims who were unfortunate enough to encounter the dead eyed reptile Alec Murdaugh. May he never be allowed among humanity ever again. His soul must and will account to God for his actions. Maggie & Paul rest in peace in the Kingdom of God forever.
And yet AMs somehow in shock when Buster told him that the public was criticizing him for gambling at casinos after all that took place. These kind of elitist people just don't get it. I know exactly 💯 why Murdaugh is putting money on other people's commissary.. it's because he's trading commissary for opioids. I used to trade my commissary for Suboxone dime packs . Thank the good lord that my newborn baby girl made me wake up and realize that I had to get my life together and most importantly my sobriety. Murdaugh is guilty as sin and his motive is the fact that Paul started the fire in the Murdaugh house... And out of spite and anger... Murdaugh burned it to the ground.
@@mortalclown3812 I think that was a cover. He is a sociopath. It garners more sympathy if you're addicted to drugs as opposed to gambling. That was his shame. Why is he getting any money. All that money should be paying back those millions of dollars he stole and his family is dumb enough to believe that other guy is buying for him he is either buying drugs or paying back his gambling losses
And imo hes goin to continue trying to use other inmates accts in order to avoid having to pay restitution or fines imposed by the court that otherwise would be taking from him the majority of the monies put on his inmate acct. They need to get that in check fr fr

Buying drugs
No!! He was not concerned about respecting them with flowers on occasions, ABSOLUTELY not true! He wanted his son to call Maggie's parents, her wealthy aging parents to make sure they knew he wanted flowers on the grave, thats just him trying to reach them and manipulate them into using the power their good reputation still had to back him and its DISGUSTING!!!!
l believe Maggie and Pauls graves have no headstones
Id imagen Their would still be a place to leave flowers. Regardless thats the point of his asking buster to make sure he tells her parents about his desire to by flowers.. Regardless if he means for the funeral, the plot, or just in general.. its all the same point..
WTF does his family STILL stay under his authority?!!!. They are disgusting!!!!!☝️😡
It's not that they're staying under his authority, but now that they're still enabling him and his manipulation of everyone around him.

That was great. Loved the information, he also taught his sons to think they are better than the average person.
“Every day I’m in here now is one less day I’m in here in the long run.”
Lmao enjoy that double life sentence. He was so confident he’d get off on that. But nope! A video placed him at the crime scene lmao
I love that quote now!
Just goes to show how much this monster is out of touch with realty.
The video was the smoking gun, but thank the Lord for Cash. Had his tail not been in question, no video would be needed. Goes to show every minute thing in life happens for a reason, be it known or unknown.
I don't know what his reasoning was for getting poot. He be way out dated. He should of be let Griffin and somebody else done his trail. It didn't really matter he was done for anyway.
@@margiebramlett7696
I agree that Poot didn't do well and that his goose was cooked anyway. Poot and Griffin (who did a lousy job on the closing argument) had worked for Alex for quite some time on other matters, including the boat crash.
Very interesting and unique material discussed. Thanks!
The LOVE of Money is the root of all evil....Alex's name should be on a Billboard in their town with this scripture under his full name and photo....They need to go bk several yrs of case files of the Murdaugh firm...
I agree.. just think of how many people he has ripped off over the years before the boat crash..
They did that's how they found all this
Amen! Good idea.
I was thinking also that he probably ripped off more people than we know. Will people now come forward about all the money they DIDN'T get even though they won a trial? I fear that the Apple - Buster doesn’t fall far from the tree - Alex.
@@lifeisgood7740 he is the only one really standing in the family. I blame Alex and Maggie for serving underaged kids at 14 alcohol (especially since Alex is an attorney.

How does he sleep at night after all the destruction he has done? It’s amazing. He hurt so many people and yet he had so many very close friends and he seemed to have no care in what he did to all of them.
He sleeps like a log! Narcissists never feel guilt, shame or remorse.
Is family acts like this is normal no big deal.
He ruined the family business, Murdered his own son and Wife, stole millions , possibly murdered others and they treat him like a victim
I'd want answers and I would be livid .

Alex has something over busters head..like steven smith..plus Alex wants buster to be a attorney so buster can work his case.
Does Buster really want to do Law School? I highly doubt it. Better he go find himself with out daddy's pressure.
Period go work at McDonald’s or go to navy
Daddy is going to need a free lawyer
He needs a new identity and profession after all his dad has done to his family and life😢
He made sure flowers were on their grave sites but after two years he hasn’t put head stones on them🤔....
10-4. 10-4. Matney and Farrell and Moses are HEROS!!! Absolutely Super Stars!!! That entire Murdaugh Murders podcast should be turned into a Netflix series and Marley and Farrell should be paid WELL!!! 5 years of their lives. Impressive!!!!
He really thought he was getting out, didn't he?
Funny to hear the attorney who didn't know about either writs of habeas corpus or mandamus hammering Buster to study hard.
He lied about being at the kennels MINUTES before they died. How could you NOT think he was guilty?????
He may still think that til after appeal.
I actually wonder if Alec just bought his Law Degree and never studied. How can a lawyer not know what Habeus Corpus means? That’s odd
Of course, for the entire life him, his father, his grandfather.. not ONE TIME have they been held accountable. And, this was a very close call, look how many ppl still think he should have been found not guilty, even after all the truth on every channel it nearly worked.
He needed his family and friends on the outside to have belief , this narrative is just part of his power and life long skill to getting what he wants- he knows he just needs to convince a person he is and will remain in charge in some way, form or fashion no matter how things look , so don’t cross him , and even if the person has doubt, they have to figure the majority around will still follow the leader , and it will come back against them if they reject the wishes of the leader - this will all now no doubt fade to black with the loss of the inevitable appeals to come
Buster and John Marvin's voices sound very similar, Big Red has his own very distinct accent.
Their moral rudder (if they ever had any to begin with) is completely GONE! All they care about is $$$$$$. Betting is part of their lives. Addictive personalities are a sure giveaway. Drugs, alcohol,. gambling, lying, cheating for an edge is all part of their normal lives. Very sad. They have no clue or CONCERN for the tragedy that they caused, or the fallout, or the seriousness of their actions. They act like they are above it all. Just a minor inconvenience. Nothing money and old boy connections can't fix. They are both dillusional and insist on going about their reckless lives business as usual, whether it's AM betting on sports game in jail for beef sticks and crackers, or Buster gambling at casinos when he should be get a jump on law school studies. But I'm sure his dad had set up connects for him there too. Those rich kids get tests taken for them and all sorts of advantages that poor kids never see or know exist. He's talking about all the games he's missed, and his wife and child are dead, he saw his sons brain matter all over the floor and ceiling. BUSTER really needs to figure this case out.. if he gets a confession off his father or trips him up by using his family skills, then he will get all the respect of his town and Buster would have a good future. Buster has still lost his mum and brother. I get the feeling he is holding back with his dad a little and could possibly be suspicious of him, but biding his time until it comes out. He being loyal but i think something within Buster knows his dad is guilty.

Using his skills to manipulate…
Just to think..Had his son not made that short call at the kennel he'd prob be a free man
bland food----Eric Bland,"karma is a be-a-ch"etc. veiled threat imo
Does Alex think he's going to get out? I hop not.
Please check the dates they're discussing. These are not contemporary reports.
Paul was an adult what does he mean he waited to long to get him treated for adhd?? Should've been done as a child smh. Oh thats right he was a MURDAUGH!! thats why he acted the way he did, until, he killed someone but then continued to behave in the same manner that led to the death of Mallory Beach.
I’ve never met an 18-year-old or a 19-year-old that I would call an adult.
If Alex was really doing that amount of pills then he was dealing with alot of dealers. He may of not done it but he knows who did if he didn't. The truth gets you so much further.
It’s impossible
I know
I’m a nurse
He was using yes
But also a drug runner
@stckgrly6454 yes forgot to add that. Impossible he was doing 80+ Roxy or oxies a day
@@shane401 yes impossible

@stckgrly6454 agree!! He was getting life either way I wish he would have just told the dam truth about everything. But he's a liar that lies lies lies so ..

It's entirely possible that someone could take 50+ opioid pills a day... and function while doing so.
His family should each share the weekly 60$
He is locked up an will not be getting out ..
It's hard to Believe that
Buster isn't doing this for his dad weekly . ALEX
Is still family and is paying for hos bad choices -
To kick a man when he's down , is not right !!
That family needs to heal by accepting his wrong doings ..
But he still is family !!!!!!!!!
60 week is nothing to millionaires of murdaugh family ..
Buster is left literally with nothing , no mom no dad , no home , no brother -
It's sad but it's still his Dad ----if you listen to Alex trying to help his son help himself --
Buster got half a million dollars out of the Boat incident. Because the family of the dead girl allowed it. Ok?
