Hump yards are becoming a thing of the past. Railroads (well, most of them) are eliminating hump yards in favor of flat line switching.
Unfortunately, The area around the yard is restricted airspace, and I couldn't get the drone up. I can get a permit, but you have to apply 60 days before you need it. so next year I'll do that. 'with my luck, it'll be raining or something when my authorization is valid.
NOTE: I've hesitated to do this, because I'm NOT in this for the money. But gas is getting higher, and while I'm out west, it's outrageous! So I've added PayPal and Patreon if you want to chip in and help with the gas. I'm not doing merchandise or any of that stuff. I do this because I like trains. I hope you enjoy them, too!
