That hectic flight pattern and aircraft sharing same altitude boxes at greatly different speeds was a recipe for disaster. She was in perfect flight status conditions until that fateful day. So sad and a tragic loss. In the flying game you can’t afford complacency.

Funny how now a days we're swimming in porn, LGTB stuff, women that dress in ultra revealing clothes, etc. yet cute and totally harmless pin-up drawings like the ones from WW2 _(a much more wholesome era)_ are considered "unacceptable."

Very sad. She was the last B-17 I saw fly back in 2016. A shame she's gone. RIP to all those lost in this tragedy.

It's a damn shame that we lost her, and her crew, along with one very rare warbird fighter; the P-63F, and its pilot, as well.
I really like those WW2-era pin-up girl logos they used. How come we don't do cool stuff like that anymore?
Because the world has gotten soft any anything that might suggest a male being attracted to a female is wrong in this politically woke agenda.
This is a very different time, so that kind of Nose Art is no longer deemed acceptable in the air force, today.
