I’ve heard it described that lightsabers aren’t inherently “weightless” feeling, and have a sort of gyroscopic effect. That makes it incredible hard to wield if you fight against it, it wants to move in certain ways.
Yeah that's why Kanan was teaching lightsaber techniques to Sabine in Rebels when he was teaching her how to wield the Darksaber. He mentioned how the more you train and learn to trust it the lighter it gets. Humm, I wonder if Din going to run into a certain female Mando who can show him what she learned in Season 3?

That their views on attachment were the opposite to the jedi. And that ship building montage was cool if a bit long. Same with the flying sequence. Now this is pod racing! I definitely think him going to Mandalor will be a big arc in s3 as well as him trying to redeem himself while trying to find his own path. He had good reason for taking off his helmet those times. Oh and we can’t forget Mando’s two iconic lines! That made my heart happy. That beginning felt like the pilot. Though he struggled real hard with the dark saber. I loved seeing him train. But he needs a jedi’s help not another Mando’s. This for me was the best episode of the season and immediately I remembered how much more I’m into Din than Boba. It’s time to retire Boba, long live Din.
I like how this episode is basically the opening for Mandalorian Season 3. That BD Droid was the same droid Cal Cestis had in the Fallen Order video game, I'm not quite sure if they're actually THE same. That Halo colony and that club in it is like a mashup of Halo and Mass Effect universe and I love it! That Starfighter kinda reminds me of the Batmobile from The Batman, and customized version of something that has a crapload of engine power. If there's going to be a figure or model kit of that I'm preordering it Day 1. 🤣 Bryce Dallas Howard did such a fantastic job on this.
this episode is insane! Bryce Dallas Howard is such a great director! I'm really afraid that this will be the best episode of the Book of Boba Fett, Mando is such a badass, so much more badass than Boba was this season. I hope they will find a badass place for Boba since he doesn't have it yet.
Absolutely it doesn't have to mess with Boba's shawshank arc ither. Just some menacing disintegrations and genuine fear from his enemies would do a lot for his Badassery
23:27 The biggest difference here is that this was ENTIRELY a Mandolorian epsiode. The Ashoka and Boba Fett episodes in the Mandolorian still very much had Din in them. Boba was nowhere to be seen here, and the most reference to him that there was in the episode was the exchange between Din an Fennec at the end. But there was still enough crowd-pleasing stuff that I don't think it mattered that much. So long as they get back to Boba next episode.
This was not only a fun episode, but an even MORE fun review! You guys are awesome. I am now subscribed and kicking myself for not having found your channel sooner!
I think what they were trying to accomplish is the theme of tribes and sense of belonging, which is a recurring theme in this series thus far. Boba said everyone needs a tribe but what happens when your tribe is gone? That's something both of them can relate to and I think from that thematic perspective, this episode hits home a bit harder, but I do agree, this was more of a Mando episode!
Oh man the humor of this show in the serious parts: Mando: Hey Armorer, I found this baby. Armorer: You gotta take that back to the Jedi, son. Mando: What's a Jedi? Armorer: This is the way. And now: Mando: Hey Armorer, I took the baby back to the Jedi but I took off my helmet. Armorer: Well you can no longer be Mando unless you take a dippy dip in those living waters under the mines on Mandalore. Mando: But like, Mandalore ain't even there no more and I can't even swim. Armorer: This is the way. Man, I ain't coming back here no more ya'll keep giving me galaxy shaping dank to do.
What are the early odds for there being a mythosaur in the living waters beneath Mandalore when Din goes there to make the Armorer happy again? I think he will see Boba ride the rancor and we will see Din eventually ride a mythosaur

The Halo ring structure in The Book of Boba Fett was a reference from Larry Niven's 1970 novel book called Ringworld. Halo game series took inspiration from that book too. StarWars series also took inspiration from the Ringworld novel book, and has the lore written before Halo game (2001) appear.

You got 100K!!! Congratulations! :) Also you are the only ones I've seen that figured out Grogu is getting chain mail armor. That's why I love you guys so much.

Congrats on 100k guys!!!! I found y'all on a rection mash up and you guys keep delivering quality content every week! Keep it up and cant wait for more!
I have a theory about this episode being solely Mando. My guess is that Book of Boba Fett was originally planned on being 6 episodes but then they’re like wait let’s do a mando episode and stick it in there so we’ll say it’s 7 episodes. we can further mando’s story so that season 3 can hit the ground running. So I think it was gonna be 6 but then they added that in there and made it 7 episodes which seems like a weird number. I also don’t think we’ll see Grogu next episode I think that we’ll go back to Boba and then Mando will come back for the season finale of this show to help and we’ll see where he went, in season 3 of Mando
One of the best 50mins of solid great Star Wars we’ve had for a while I think, but odd/a shame that one of best Mando episodes wasn’t in Mando, and one of the best Boba episodes did not include Boba.

Bryce Dallas Howard did such a fantastic job on this.
this episode is insane! Bryce Dallas Howard is such a great director! I'm really afraid that this will be the best episode of the Book of Boba Fett, Mando is such a badass, so much more badass than Boba was this season. I hope they will find a badass place for Boba since he doesn't have it yet.
Oh, I think it's coming. But so far, THIS is the episode I'll be rewatching a lot. And...Amy Sedaris is back!!!
This episode made me sooo happy. I definitely needed that this week.
me too, get through the week well my friend. and may the force be with you...always !
Me too! And their excited giddy laughter when he busted out the dark saber was everything!
This episode legitimately brought me back to my childhood watching the Phantom Menace in the cinema. Definitely needed.
Omg same!
You build your own tribe. I’m getting the feeling that the Mudhorn Clan will soon expand beyond two members. Wink wink.
I liked how they made the dark Saber heavy. Goes back to Episode 4 and Lucas's original idea of making the lightsaber heavy to hold.
Oh man the humor of this show in the serious parts:
Mando: Hey Armorer, I found this baby.
Armorer: You gotta take that back to the Jedi, son.
Mando: What's a Jedi?
Armorer: This is the way.
And now:
Mando: Hey Armorer, I took the baby back to the Jedi but I took off my helmet.
100k 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
As a Patreon and someone who has been with you since 2018. Congrats it’s long overdue ❤️❤️❤️
What are the early odds for there being a mythosaur in the living waters beneath Mandalore when Din goes there to make the Armorer happy again? I think he will see Boba ride the rancor and we will see Din eventually ride a mythosaur
Oh, that’s good!! I hadn’t even thought of that!
"Hy, my name is Din Djarin and this is my favorite shop on the citadel" ... i lought a thousend tears... you got me. Love those commentary :D :D :D
100.000! Congratulations you guys! No other reviewers deserve it more!!! Internet best friends FTW!
Woooo just as Jay said FIX IT I checked the sub count and seen the glorious 100k congrats guys you truly deserve it and although it’s a bit past your birthday Adam daddy did get you your plaque. But in all seriousness guys truly well done you really deserve it here’s to many more subscribers and onwards towards the big 1M can’t wait to be here when yous get that as well ❤️🎉🎉🥳🥳☺️
3:30 - 4:10 If you see this, Congrats on reaching 100k boys!!! Been subed to you since you started watching Mando season 1, funny and very entertaining duo you are, keep up the good work you 2! Road to 200k!! 🙌🏾
You beat me by a second. Well done.
I gasped SO LOUD as soon as Din came through!!!!
I missed my space dad so much!! I literally can watch Mando just doing stuff for hours
Man same! There’s no such thing as too much Mando. If we some day got like a 90 minute episode I would be so happy.
Setting up the hype for the next two episodes to get everyone to tune in
I miss this guy so much ! How did we get so attached to him in just 2 seasons !
Easily! We really have needed something new and exciting in the last almost 2 years of Covid crapola - HOPE...what George Lucas has always wanted for us kids - young and old.
@@parisbrat So well said !
@@vb7794 Thanks!
kinda sad the best episode of boba fett doesn't even include him, but I am now even more hyped for season three of the Mandalorian.
I still think ep 2 was the best. But this one was up there.
@@ThePete1081 Episode 2 was so bad it made me stop watching the series.
Same!
@@bigfella6898 I meant of Book of Boba Fett not "Attack of the Clones". Clearly you are confused or unwell.
I thought the same thing, but after further thought, I don't give a shit. So GREAT!
Jay's giggles in the first fight alone made this video worth my time. And YES, where are the living quarters? Where is he supposed to sleep? Prep food? Where's he gonna LIVE??
I greatly appreciate Adam's Bleach reference regarding the dark saber.
i came looking for this comment
@@Rushnzl16 Glad to be of service. It's one of my husband's favorite anime. We actually used "bankai" as part of some passwords for a bit. He even has a few replica Zangetu's as well as a few sealed captain's swords.
@@Michelle-DiPalo awesome can't wait for the new season
@@Rushnzl16 Me neither.
100K Subscribers as of now. Congratulations Adam & Jay.
Seeing N1 was soooo satisfying.
You didn't think they were just gonna give us one little hallway scene with Luke and call it quits did ya?
Mando has to learn how to use that light saber somewhere.
Kylo slashes Grogou with his saber and doesn't know he had Beskar under his robe...
Bruh... BRUUUUUH!!!! GROGU REVENGE SERIES?!
I can’t help it but I have the strongest feeling that the Armorer was complicit in the sacking of Mandalor.
My kids make fun of me waiting for this reviews like I wait for the episodes. But you two are just so much fun to watch.
Congrats on 100k !
My first exposure to this channel was Mando season 2 ep 8 and when Adam said “check his hands” and “that narrows it down a little bit” I knew this was the place for me.
The Mythosaur signet has been a staple of Mandalrian culture for eons. It's fate that Jango stole the one ship that resembles such an imposing beast.
Good episode, but what stands out to me the most, both characters have had life-changing events, Boba the pit and the sand people, Mando the child, they’re not the same people they were, they’re moving forward to their own future
The Dark Saber reveal actually took my breathe away.
Mine too
Me too!
You got 100K!!! Congratulations! :) Also you are the only ones I've seen that figured out Grogu is getting chain mail armor. That's why I love you guys so much.
OMG! When he went in with the saber, I had the same exact reaction as Jay! I could NOT stop laughing AND crying!
There's just something so special about watching an N1 fly on screen again. I couldn't help but giggle like a kid again watching his new ship tear through Beggar's Canyon.
And I can't help but think that if Grogu liked speeding on one of those speeder bikes, he's going to love his little viewing port while he and Mando tear through space in the new space hotrod.
I'm pretty sure the cryogenic density combustion booster the jawas brought back to Mando was a nod to the piece of junk Han used in the trash compactor scene in A New Hope.
Congrats on 100k guys!!!! I found y'all on a rection mash up and you guys keep delivering quality content every week! Keep it up and cant wait for more!
Grogu riding a Rancor during the final battle royal. With a purple lightsaber! That would kill Luke's apperance in Mando s2-8
The Dark sabre, lost to the airport gods. The Emperor sympathizes.
I LOVE JAY!! His uncontrollable joy filled 'cry laugh' is top shelf reaction content! 🤌🏽 😁
Armorer: "Then you are a Mandalorian no more." Din: "Um, I have the Dark Saber. YOU'RE not Mandalorian anymore."
100k!!!
5:41 He knows how to use that now! Instantly cuts leg… lmao
12:55 Bleach!
Dude is the only person in the world who was upset to get more mando and less fett.
"Hello, my name is Din Djarin and this is my favorite shop on the Citadel."
YESSS
Cameo from Mark Meer needed-just because.
One of the best 50mins of solid great Star Wars we’ve had for a while I think, but odd/a shame that one of best Mando episodes wasn’t in Mando, and one of the best Boba episodes did not include Boba.
I can't wait til they get the balance right. Gonna be one helluvan episode if they do :)
In my mind this has been the best Boba episode
LOVED THIS EPISODE!!
And Congrats on getting to 100k guys! Been watching for a long time and y'all are so deserving of this accomplishment and so much more. 👏👏👏
Adam: "Hold on, are we gonna go seen Luke and Grogu?"
Mando: "Might could be. This is the way."
Congrats on hitting100k!!! That's awesome! You guys rock. When I see your reactions, it makes my day so much better. Keep up the good work.
Ahhhhhh finally 100k . The Peaches have assembled. Congratulations ❤
Congrats on 100k!! You guys deserve it! On of the best channels on RUclips
These two, hands down, have the best reactions.
Congratulations on the reaching 100,000 subscribers. We are so excited and proud of you!!
As a Gear Head I really appreciated the build process of the fighter😂 never thought I would hear “Bolt On Aftermarket Performance Mods” in Star Wars😂
He got overnight parts from Corellia
@@SpaalKodaav 😂😂😂 I bet he didn’t forget that Hectors gonna be running 3 Honda civics with spoon engines
@@silence3314 yeah but Johnny Tran has that T16 with the 50 inch stabilizers and the 100,000 credit thruster in it
@@SpaalKodaav 😂😂😂😂
Congratulations on a 100K subscribers! You called it, no waiting around. Lights! Camera! Din Djarin! Somebody check on Jay, I think he's having an hysterical nerdgasm when the Dark Saber ignited! I haven't even got passed the beginning of the video and I just had to comment when it was fresh in my mind.
I accidently bit my tongue laughing at the Mass Effect joke. Well played..
I'm bringin' it back!
I waited whole 3 days for someone to get that refference :D
I have no problem with Mando having Boba's episodes all to himself, because Boba was in the Mandalorian quite a bit and I think he may be in the next season of Mando a lot too.
Oh, I'm just starting the video but I saw you hit 100k. Congratulations Adam and Jay both. I know it's a little late after your birthday but it was close. I'm glad people are finding the channel as well as "fixing it" to paraphrase Jay. If I hadn't already been subscribed for quite awhile I would be onto that because he can be a little scary. I wouldn't wait to get namechecked. Congrats again my good fellows.
100K
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
CONGRATULATIONS ON THE 100K how did i miss it !!
I'm so glad we all live in a Era where these guys exist with us
100,000 subscribers hit! Woohoo! Happy Birthday, Adam!
Congrats on 100k! 🎉🎉🎉
You know what Jay, i absolutely had the same thought that you had that this is the Boba Fett show and we should concentrate on him not that i dont like Djin, i love everything about The Mandalorian. We think very similarly bro. It is an honour to be your subscriber. May the force be with you both.
I love that she can speak Jawa. I don't know if we have time to go visit Grogu and tie up the series in two episodes. If you visit Grogu, you're going to want that to be the episode right? It'll feel shoehorned in otherwise. And wasn't the original "Wizard" spoken by Kitster in Episdoe I? And play Fallen Order already, it was a great game!
What would Din's Zanpakuto be?
Congrats on 100K!!!!!!!!!!
That long metal tube part Mando puts into the ship is the same thing Han uses to brace the trash compactor walls in New Hope
Congrats on hitting 100K!
And.... you've made it to 100k not quite by Adam's birthday. But at least it's in the same month! Congrats guys!!! Keep up the great work!
