While the thought of having an M1 iPad is salivating, I’m pretty satisfied with my 2020 iPad Pro! What I need more is the magic keyboard case and probably a much more desktop class ipadOS.

I would LOVE to see a video comparing all of the cases/keyboards with pros and cons! I’m considering getting a new one but I’m not sure which kind would be best for me.
I was curious to ask but what’s your thoughts on the iPad M1 versus IPad Air versus IPad Pro 2020 knowing that the updates won’t work after 5 years? I feel like that’s a big con.

Thank you for sharing some real life experiences rather than video editing or benchmarks. Have you written any large research papers or lit reviews with the iPad? I have considered getting one for school but I know iPadOS has some limitations in multitasking, which is important when writing papers. Sometimes I have 15 articles up at once while trying to write a lit review. Just wanted to get another student's perspective of this.

I just wanna say I love love your channel and amazing videos!🤩 I was wondering between iPad Air 256gb and M1 iPad Pro 11 inch 128 gb, which would you recommend if I’m mainly doing digital note taking (I’m planning to use it for 5 years+ for university and work), downloading PDFs and books, streaming and playing some games? Do you think IPad Air battery can still work in 5+ years? Do you need to get a paper feel screen protector for note taking or can I just write on the screen protector instead? If the iPad Pro 2021 is too much, then should I get the iPad Pro 2018/2020 if I want the 120Hz and a slightly better camera over the iPad Air? Please let me know, thanks!😊
Hi! I have the iPad Air 4 and the battery is great and I end up charging once everyday. One of my family members has the m1 pro so I decided to compare them.
Overall I think that if u have the budget, get the m1 iPad Pro. It is more future proof and faster. If you don’t have the budget, I suggest getting the iPad Air 4 instead of the 2018 Pro because the 2018 Pro will be unsupported in the next 3-4 yrs versus the iPad Air in the next 5-6 yrs.

omg.. i almost did the same as you, the M1 news came out on the evening and i was gonna buy 2020 the next morning. Phew... i mean dw tho the 2020 is very much capable of doing pretty much everything an Ipad is expected to do. Now im waiting for mine to arrive!

Hi - thanks for showing the comparison with Goodnotes. I use that app for my engineering lectures and i find that if i open up three or more of my engineering PDFs for annotating during a lecture, my 2018 Pro gets all laggy with elements of the screen sometimes not even showing up! That was a dealbreaker for me which is why i ordered the 2021 Pro ( well, this is one reason but i have others uses which also need the nee device). You are the only one of many youtubers who even came close to addressing my issue, so I appreciate that. Will be subbing. Take care.

Hi! I use ipad in zoom meetings. I just recently bought an ipad pro 2021 and i noticed that when i join zoom meetings, the audio sometimes (and now has become more frequent) doesn’t work. I cannot hear what the other participant. When i try skype, the screen says “on hold” until the call disconnects.. what do you think can be the problem? I hope you can help me. Big thanks

No wonder M1 is faster than the old 2020 one. 2020 is slower even the Ipad Air 4, because it's running on outdated architecture based on A12. M1 is based on A14 which is in IPad Air 4 and IPhone 12.

I think the new iPad Pro is not meant for students. Last version of the device was too much and expensive for the basic student tasks yeah Ik the screen size might be ideal but if I were a student I would go for air 4. Now I think they’ve made the iPad for the professionals to replace their MacBook when they are on the road. Next iPadOS updates could be even go for a compatibility with final cut

Does having a paperlike screen protector on the new iPad Pro make the display less colourful so you can’t tell the difference between the new display and the old one ?
Do you have a problem about while use goodnote Bluetooth sign disappears on pen tools and cannot use 1 finger for slide current work paper and can use Apple Pencil and finger to write at same time?
