Thank you for posting this. Rusty was one of my closest and dearest friends. We met back in 1974 and sang a lot of songs together before he was in a band. As a matter of fact, I took him to his first bluegrass festival and he was in my wedding.
cudos to the dobro player. I admire his slack key approach to back-up. I play mostly by myself and have to carry both melody and background but there isn't study halls for good backup with a dobro except chucking. Would sure appreciate some of the fills represented here.... in the meanwhile wow!
