I still love paying attention to the stories in EVE. Absolutely hated playing the game itself, but it makes for a fascinating saga.
It's increadible the amount of effort you put into these, can't be easy with so much going on and events fluctuating quickly. The depth is great and when all is said and done it'll be all the better to look back at.

As a player not part of either side, i find it hard to find any reliable info on what is going on, mostly trash talk from both sides.
@@BerraLJ The propoganda war is incredibly important to both sides, as if one side feels like they're losing, their members will stop showing up to fights, and that's how you _actually_ lose a war!
its funny cause now querious is almost all toasted, fountain is fallen and provibloc is disbanded, i feel like this is a week behind, that being said, top tier vid as always

but the cool thing is its still super active and the server population is better than on most other mmos

Just started playing eve again after a few years away, I thought i'd watch this to try and catch up on the current situation lol . i've come back just as another megawar kick's off. Now all i've got to do is relearn the game before it's over :)

I started playing recently and I cannot tell what's what yet. But the history of EVE and these conflicts are some of the most interesting stories I've heard from gaming.

WWB2 is starting out pretty fun, hopefully there will be plenty more time for fights. INIT doesn't seem to know how to fleet very well, so we are ending up with loads of killmails and only a few losses while outnumbered and out-shipped. In one structure bash there were 3 bombing runs, we lost 1 frigate and decimated almost all of the bombers. The few that were left ended up bombing their own POS at the end.
Grear info. As from someone on the south border it's always cool to see the whole perspective.

@@Jintaan I do not play Eve but I would join the Imperium if I did. The way Legacy broke off an alliance and attacked before it ended while people were distracted listening to a speech is a d*ck move.
@@logangoerks236 this was the most civilized ending of an agreement like this imo, we gave the Imperium two weeks to reinforce positions and get situated how they wanted. (Also, goons broke the NIP first hours before the structure bashes by Legacy by cloaky camping areas disallowed by the NIP)
@@Iceyman314 I guess two sides to each story huh. I would still likely side with the Imperium seeing how Legacy broke off a long standing peace treaty/alliance for no apparent reason (feel free to correct me because like I said I don't play the game) but I can see your reason for attacking early.

I'm guessing the acronym "The NIP" was chosen on purpose. At least they didn't call it the Technical Alliance Involving Naval Tactics.
NIP in Eve is an acronym for Non-Invasion Pact. It simply means no taking each others territory. There is also a NAP or Non-Aggression Pact which is basically you don't shoot us, we don't shoot you. Although a NAP doesnt normally keep players from both groups from having some lighthearted fun with each other.
Nipples had nothing to do with it.

The capital clash came in 49- tonight, 09/23, Horde bubbled CONDI supercaps and destroyed them, as well as winning the Fort timer and defending TEST sov structures.

This war has been a blast so far. Everyone's deployed so their krabs are basically left for dead in their home regions. Some of the groups aren't even allowed to undock caps right now. Killed 10+ bil in Horde space a couple nights ago with just a newbro caracal fleet and 2 ospreys.

I'd love to have a look at that ammo thief's asset safety window. If he's smart he'll let it sit in the asset safety stations for at least 6 months before trying to move it, so that everyone hopefully forgets theres a half trill lying around in lowsec.
Goons loosing would be a breath of fresh air for EVE, even though I haven't played for over a year due to irl time constraints and was part of Goonswarm I'm rooting for Test on this one, looking forward to any updates
I've been having a blast so far. Im in Legacy and a couple days ago, in a random roam with Destroyers, we went all the way into Delve and the Imperial Palace of the Goons with no opposition. Fun times xD
Goons welped 10 bil of jackdoors last night, we lost 127 mil. The fight was close to Legacy staging. we were jumped in from the Titan, right ontop of the enemy at gate head shot the FC, and jumped, Goons followed us through but with no FC, it was a massacre they were in disarray.
Oh man, I need to buy a laptop again and hop in!

I have been playing a bit of EVE these days, though on SiSi as i've been practicing for the AT. Would be a long time before I could catch up enough to make political content though.
Ânsiblexes were not killed on purpose on both sidees, as reinforcing them permanently is better to annoy people :P

Many of the big players in this war have noob friendly corporations you can join to get into the fight relatively quickly with how to tutorials to get you up and participating in fleet events. Times like these are really the best time to get into Eve, as this conflict has the makings of another B-R5RB perhaps even more than one. I’d be signing up again but I have way to much going on at home these days to dedicate myself into another war of internet spaceships.
As a person that never played eve online. This is the coolest thing i have ever seen in my entire life. Giant world wars in a freaking videogame?! This makes me want to play this so hard, but i know i couldn't understand anything in this game:(

Nice update but this video indeed reeds like old news. So much has changed in the meantime: New coalition name is PAPI, the Initiative has basically given up Fountain (calling it "floodplains") and has withdrawn to Y-2ANO, Pandafam has moved up its staging to PNQY-Y, Querious saw many i-hubs reinforced, etc.

I have no idea when PanFam went into Cloud Ring, I'm pretty sure we started off in Fountain while Cloud Ring was handled mainly by CONFI(if it was handled by anyone, I don't it ever being talked about). Also your EFM BRs are missing quite a lot of alliances such as Siberian Squads, The Army of Mangos, Frat, to name a few.
Provi Bloc broke up.
Most big coalitions are baddies so idk if EvE will be better without CFC. Also Test kicked us out, broke a structure nap and is more cancerous in local chat than bees so I'm fighting against dinos.
I almost feel the same way, I am on Panfam’s side but I recognize that having 3 major power blocs are important to the political health of the game. The old saying that Goons are bad for eve just isn’t true anymore, certainly the opposite is true now.

@@Jintaan lol I mean there's a reason why pibc won so fast after that battle. Once 49 is captured, legacy's capital has the jump range of almost all goons sovereignty.

The R3- ihub was lost because your buddy Vysh came back from the dead to FC, rather than Ark our normal FC running the fleet, Vysh made a series of mistakes, including undocking with out any command boosts in fleet. If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. Sadly, Vysh knew neither provibloc or RC and the fight was lost before anyone even undocked.
There is now a 2 month NIP in place between provibloc and RC, however provibloc is dead, CVA is going to low sec to rebuild, possibly with Snuffed Out as our only blue, or just running fleets with them as needed, guess we will see after this weekend.

Vysh was a decent FC back when I was there a few years ago, but giving the keys to someone who's rusty has been the bane of CVA for a long time, not surprised to see it happen again - Hope Ark continues to FC, he kicked my ass a bunch when we fought some friendly NPSI fights!
@@Jintaan he is still FCing, but in Legacy now as -7- joined Legacy. We went straight into the trenches at FAT-6P to fight with Legacy in the war.
@@Jintaan -7- and Ark joined Legacy, APOC is off trying to keep the NRDS dream alive in low sec and CVA is as said above hiding behind snuffed until we get our low sec legs under us.
Side note: CVA Likely would have joined Legacy too, but, Dran is a douchebag and his attitude killed any chance of that.

@@Apollo729 Dran does whats best for Legacy like a diplomant should do, but what I know about Test, Dran did not make the req alone for CVA to join Legacy that made CVA say no.
Also an insider source of mine says that provibloc will be disbanded.

been flying with panfam for this war, mainly in fountain. there hasn't been much resistance, really. bit of a shame.
it doesn't make sense to fight on multiple fronts against all EVE nullsec (Fountain border to lowsec Hophib, Fountain border to Cloud Ring - lowsec Alsavoinon / PB, 49-U to Catch, TCAG-3 to Paragon Soul, XK- to Stain.
@@jokerash It doesn't really matter if one side doesn't want to fight that front if the other side it more than happy to, that just makes their job easier.

It's old news though as he explained. A shitload has happened in the meantime, most prominently that Fountain has now been given up by the defenders. If you want to stay up-to-date in this war, reddit is basically your best bet if you can filter through all the shitposting.
