I’m pleased you enjoyed it Alex and over 50% is decent 👍🏻 - close with the bonus! (The answer is 15) Thanks for playing and all you commenting, it’s truly appreciated.
Hi the Horror, you are absolutely correct! When I looked as to which country has the highest population in Central America, Mexico came first and the answer for G came second (from the pages that came up on my web search) - I know that Mexico is North America and a slip up on my behalf for not noticing the mistake!
20/26 for me and like Koosnaff I made some silly mistakes towards the end. I didn't know the earwax or Japanese crime group either. Oh yes, and I went for the Old Curiosity Shop, Peloponnesian War and Zambia which was N. Rhodesia
Your in good company 😀. The earwax question was a tough one (I had only heard of it recently). The former name of North and South Rhodesia has caught me out so many times in the past! I now remember it this way: alphabetically North Rhodesia comes before South Rhodesia and alphabetically Zambia comes before Zimbabwe. North is Zambia and South is Zimbabwe - I have never forgotten since, sorry if that’s bored you but may help in the future 😀
Managed 23/26. Forgot the character for "B", wrong book title for "O", and had a brain fart for "V"! (Herr Wagner will disown me! 😆) The bonus is 15, obviously they're doing CPR. What other reason would they have for being on his chest? Maybe I'll do better next time. I really like these A-Z quizzes. Of course, I tend to like a lot of quizzes! Thanks for putting forth the effort to keep us entertained!
Haha 😂 - Im sure he would have forgiven you!. A very good score and spot on with the bonus (that would be one hell of a CPR attempt🙂) It’s nice to know you like this style of quiz, at the moment I just do 1 a week but I intend to up it to two a week in the future (when I have some more time)
Hello the Koosnaff’s 👋 - this quiz is designed for the odd silly mistake or funny answer 😀. A good score and the bonus, well done 👍🏻 I’m doing well thank you, and hope you are both enjoying the weekend.
Ahhh don’t worry PC, hopefully some of those questions will come up in your future quizzing and you will now have the answer 😀. Thanks for playing and commenting! - have a nice evening 👍🏻
24/26 didn't know earwax had a scientific name & missed the Charles Dickens question He wrote more books than I thought. Umlauts I knew but thought they were in Scandinavian languages (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish & Icelandic) I have never seen a German word with umlauts
23/25 - I missed 'N' and 'O', coincidentally spelling out what I howled when I went for the wrong Dickens option out of the two! 😛 Didn't get the bonus either - it's been a long long time since I heard that song mentioned, and I thought it was 12 (daft, since that doesn't even scan). Ah well.
OK .. I'll be honest and say that I didn't actually say Fibonacci, but I was close (I threw in an h and said Fibonachi). I'll also admit that the two geography questions that I guessed (and got right !) were a case of ''think of a country begining with D and G that are in that area of the world'' rather than being 100% sure about the answer. The two that I didn't get were Hadron and Yakusa .. but I surprised even myself by knowing Ikebana and Umlaut I knew Kappa as a Greek letter, but not a clothing brand .. and I got Our Mutual Friend because I knew it wasn't Oliver Twist. Bonus ... it's either 15 or 16 😜
Your answer for F is close enough for me 😀, Your answers for D & G is why this quiz is a bit different, educated guesses or the process of elimination can be just as important as knowing the answer 😀. Good knowledge on your behalf for I and O - well done 👍🏻 I can also give you the bonus (I’m feeling generous 🍻) - the answer is 15
👏 Awesome quiz! Thanks for creating it! 🙌

Mexico is actually part of the North American continent. I'm often surprised at how many people are not aware of this.

Excellent score, well done 👏👏.
They can appear above a,o or u in the Germany language.
