Challenge yourself to score 19 or above!
Each answer starts with a letter in the alphabet, the answer to question 1 begins with A, question 2 begins with B, down to 26 which will begin with the letter Z.
There is good mix of general knowledge and trivia questions (some are difficult), I hope you enjoy and good luck.
There is audio throughout reading out the questions and answers (in English).

21 correct - Better than recent weeks so quite pleased. I'll take a guess at 2008 for the bonus answer. China always do well and I believe it was held in Beijing that year,so home advantage may have given them an edge.

I got 20 out of 26 this week and the bonus is the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. Also the sixth president of the USA John Quincy Adams was the son of the 2nd president of the USA John Adams.

21. Had no idea about 'D', made sense when the answer came. Guessed 'diarrhoea' because it had plop in the middle. 😂 Will also guess 2012 for the bonus.
For my favorite A-Z Quiz, I scored 24/26. Missing L, and W.
I believe that the 2008 Olympics was the last time that the USA didn't lead the medal count. I seem to recall that 2022 marked the 7th consecutive Olympic where the USA lead the medal count.
Thanks for the quiz, Dale. I suppose that one of these days, I'll have to start following football/soccer⚽ so I can do better on these quizzes.😆
USA had 0 medals in 1980.
@ianbaird4696 that was because we boycotted that Olympic games due to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. But the question was referring to more recent Olympic games since it said in the question since 1996 meaning the USA had to have participated in the Olympic games.

Another great quiz. Thanks Dale...I got 22 tonight and think the bonus is 1980, the Moscow Olympics that the USA boycotted after their invasion of Afghanistan.
The question was since the Atlanta summer games in 1996. I at first thought of 1980 but then I reread the question and got the right answer.

Bonus is 2008 Beijing. But I'm pretty certain that the US won far more medals overall, which suggests it was still really the winner.
USA USA USA chant started at the Lake Placid winter games during the Miracle on Ice game.
Finntastic struggled a bit (not on Helsinki, of course 😅) this week. 17 pts all in all, I'm pleased with the score. I like that these questions are bit tougher, because you get help by knowing the first letter of each answer 👍
I didn't get the word ''Eustachian'' tube close enough to say I got it right
and although I've played it I didn't know that game was called Jenga.
I also didn't get Luka Modric Silver Surfer (that's me !) and Zephyrus.
