I did a lot today, and I am exhausted. The places I visited are as follows.
Number 1, Çiçek Pasajı. It means Flower Passage and the reason behind the name was interesting.
Number 2, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Everybody knows this one, it has wax figures of famous people. I didn't recognize the Turkish politicians and movie stars, but there were American movie stars that I recognized.
Number 3, Galata Tower. It is one of the oldest structures in the city.
Number 4, Tünel. The shortest subway and the second oldest subway in the world, but it was closed.
Number 5, Dolmabahçe Palace. Former home of the leaders when the city was the capital of the Ottoman Empire.
Number 6, Grand Bazaar. People can buy anything there, fake Gucci purses, fake Rolex watches, and more.
Number 7, Egyptian Bazaar. In the old days, it was strictly spice, although it is no longer strictly spice.
Number 8, Rüstem Pasha Mosque. It is one of the many mosques throughout the city.
I am going to bed early tonight because I am flying out of the city to southern Turkey. Enjoy the video.
