  • Use the Pen tool to create Dynamic Mask of a Selection of an Image and Apply Selective Modifications. This feature really is a standout tool ( as are many in AD) in that you get real feedback as you edit.

    Hello Rory, thank you for that tutorial, learned alot there. Here is my solution for the texture issue.
    Duplicate the layer after you do the first copy into selection. Then the top duplicate you give it a multiply blend mode. Then everyhing that you do on the layer under it will always have the texture add on top of it with the multiply blend mode above.

    If you adjust the curves on the cloth layer, it’ll make the wrinkles more prominent under the color multiply layer.

    Hmm, an interesting choice for the colour of the star. I've seen a couple of red stars and they're always associated with certain dictatorships! Other than that, thanks for the great lesson! Great work!

      Lol, very interesting observation. I think it's cause of the Colour wheel and how I select it. There's no hidden message, I will however be conscious of it in the next few videos.

    @6:59 you say control X to cut the curve. All this does is delete the curve, not the image. What am I missing?

    • @RoryTownsendTV
      @RoryTownsendTV  4 года назад +1

      Select the image layer (sweater) Ctr-X is to Cut the Image from the layer into memory (clipboard)
      Then Select the Outline Curve Layer and press Ctr-V to paste it.
      Remember when selecting the Curve Layer, you should also click the "Insert into Selection" icon, top right of screen, then Ctr-V to paste.
      Hope that explains it.
