Suggestion for anyone programming robots. When you teach a point, always round every point either up or down a few decimal places. So if your X point is -266.678 round it to -266.700. This way if an operator or anyone who shouldnt be touching the teach pendant touches up a point, you'll know instantly that something has changed if it crashes.
Great video, very informative... Do you have a video for A,E,S Coordinates ? (a.k.a. the w,p,r)...? They might be related to FDS, but not too familiar with...
@@SynapticRobotics thanks for your reply, here's the link about the robot. I can not understand the CONF of it. www.fanuc.eu/pl/en/robots/robot-filter-page/m-710-series/m-710ic-50e

Thank you for that idea, will be using that.
Very well
Thank you. Hours wasted trying to figure this out.
EXCELLENT demo - saves me explaining those pesky Turn Numbers to colleagues - thankyou
This definitely got me. In conjuction with singularity avoidance, you can get some pretty unpredictable behavior.
Great content - clear descriptions!

Thanks a lot. Very helpful video
Thanks, great video.
Awesome job, Thank you!
Hello, not sure if you have a tutorial on this, but what about N D B 0, 0, 0 in the Frame/UTOOL Setup....?
The configuration string doesn't matter in UTOOL/UFRAME setup. The robot only takes the XYZWPR component of the teach points.
Thanks for the great video. I've got a question: how to understand the CONF fo FANUC M-710iC 50E? Thanks
Looking on Fanuc's website, there is no M-710iC 50E. Can you be more specific?

Good contents...thanks
Can any of the Config. Posn for 0,0,0 be a negative value?
Yes it can. A -1 in the J6 config for example would cause the robot to solve for J6 between -180 and -540. -2 would solve between -540 and -900.
Thank you!
Wow, totally useless. Thanks!
Very constructive. Why was this useless?

@@SynapticRoboticsPerhaps the commenter were wondering what this function might actually be needed for?
