Hadrian's Wall Bikepacking

  • An overnight trip to Haltwhistle, Northumberland in the summer of 2013. I stayed in my tent at Hadrians Wall campsite which was very nice. There was a seperate part of the site for cyclists and backpackers so you didn't have to book. I had it all to myself including the cookhouse. The tent used is a Wild Country Zephyros 1.

    njce video lee ,some lovely countryside, just subscribed so got a few more of your videos to watch yet im sure I will enjoy them all . me and my mate ian are planning on doing a good few trips this year starting with Tynemouth to ravensglass,cant wait . ride on mate and enjoy. sam

      @@rocklobstercat thanks, will check it out, I often do the deerness valley - then either the lanchester trail or the brancepeth one, but the one I want to do is the deerness, lanchester, the waskerley then back home...some 36 miles I think which'll be hard going haha

      Yeah, it's up Waskerley Way, down to Blanchland , through Slaley Forest etc. I can post you the route.
