And I’ve heard from some librarians lately that they are starved for that little bit older boy MC books that aren’t fantasy or sci-fi so again it sounds like the book we not only want but need!

I recently posted a video about the MG market on Tiktok. Editors, librarians, and teachers. They're all asking for the same thing. Lower word count. Like no more than 40k. And more books for 13-15 year olds. I'm glad yours will be published in paperback!! They all need to be released in paperback. Hardback prices are ridiculous.

I feel like lower MG is for 7+ year olds, while upper MG is for like 11-12 year olds? We suffer with not having lower YA here either. It sucks!
