Nice. My small Jackery 240 will run my 37 qt. ARB Zero for just about 24 hours sitting in my hot shed at 34 deg…give or take a few depending on conditions. It’s amazing how little power these fridges use.

I like the video but I wish you told the Wattage off the battery pack. My 23 Qt Freezer pulls 39-40 Watt.

Cool video I purchased one my self when it fist came out. it’s been about 3 weeks now it’s great in the house i used my 200watt Goalzero got about 9hr off it at 32 degrees. Look forward to you next update 🤙

@@isaactafolla5479 I got the correct slide from ICECO and simply installed it myself. It was a little wider and longer than my previous Ironman slide. This one will accommodate larger fridges also. Easy project.

You know a pro vs cons on this vs a 5 day traditional cooler would be a great video. I guess I just can’t see the benefit unless I’m away from ice for more than 5 days🤷🏽♂️. The rig is going to need gas within that 5 day period to keep running so where there is gas there is usually ice. Curious to hear your opinion.
Good question. I’ve stayed out there five days straight (twice.) The spots were remote so there were no nearby stores. Lack of ice was an issue towards the end (even with my high end cooler.) For many of us, space is important. Ice takes up space. As for fuel, many of us have jerry cans or after market fuel tanks. Do the math and see if this is a good option for you. Ice takes a lot of the volume away. And a Ice cooler for space considerations is going to be much bigger for volume needed. Also Ice melts and food may get waterlogged. Not being able to get to Ice may be a problem. Can't regulate the temperature of Ice.
The expense with a 12v fridge/freezer is the only downside. And the fact it could break.
I'm a truck driver. I've went from ice coolers to those thermoelectric coolers to 12v fridge/freezers. I won't go back to the ice coolers or thermoelectric coolers ever.
