Nice video!! One thing i have to note: i mostly play Venom and, when engaging on the enemy backline, i don't recommend doing it with your shift. If the enemy team is half-competent they will out-damage your E and will soon kill you. Try climbing near surfaces and getting out of vision to then dive the backline. Most of the time you want them to come to your range, not the other way because your team may not be able to heal or follow-up the engage. Mostly use your shift as a escaping method, unless you are sure you ain't gonna die. Also, as your F cooldown is reasonably low, you can frequently fit it when fighting by climbing a not very tall place. It really disrupts the enemy team flow and leave them more vulnerable to your dps.
healer main tip, using the right high ground is op and for some reason never recommended like it is for other games. i also just put myself in hard to reach places if i cant get high ground. this makes it almost impossible to lose unless they have a good spidey, team over extended, or a united enemy push. also if your trying to solo rank up, you need to act like your life is the most important and almost never die. i know easier said than done, but if your trying to solo rank then you kinda need to carry and make plays
People not talking on VC is because 9 out of 10 times when you lose people start blaming others for losing a match. the higher your rank, the saltier people get if they lose or drop rank. The other day we had a group in Gold rank and one guy kept typing in chat what we needed to do every time he died, which not only took time away from him joining us in the fight and helping out. It also annoyed people since they felt they got blamed for something they didn't do and we lost every match after that. Just trying to use the ping options to point out enemy locations, fall back, regroup, etc or when you got your ult ready for use is enough to get your group going. I solo'd to gold this way and it seemed to work fine.
There are problems even in lower elos like silver: 1. You can literally see people rushing their picks as DPS because they don't want to play as tanks; as a result, team comp is 5 dps 1 healer/tank. You'd think the DPS at least are competent enough to focus enemy healers or something? nope. Final score 0/10/0 2. When people select tanks they really don't know what to do, they deep dive mindlessly, the rest of the damage dealers don't follow but the healer and both the tank and healer die doing nothing. 3. When people pick healers, they are more focused in DPSing than healing. I've had literally 5 guys hitting me while I am a tank, and my healer is next do me doing nothing. I know that since I've played venom and I have technically double life to see if they re healing me or not, and they aren't.
You're absolutely right and I wish more people were aware of this. Being the one healer on a 5 dps team is frustratingly common. Once when I asked if anyone could play a tank, I got flamed and told to do it myself even though we had no other healers.. And if there is a second healer, giving the hope that I could use my hero's full kit for once, they often end up doing less than 1k healing all match.
Venom is not a team comp tank , They always dive in blindly and blame the healer for not healing (10k+ healing every game usually , still got blame) . Playing with tank like Dr Strange , Capt , and Thor is more convience for me as a part time healer.
The reason healers are dpsing is because dps users suck and healers are great at dps (warlock for example). If my dps tm8’s are doing what they need to, I stay 10-15 behind tanks/dps to heal and dps when needed lol
These tips are great, but what am I supposed to do when 70% of my losses in comp come from 3-4 ppl insta locking dps and proceeding to feed their brains out all game and blame healers or tanks meanwhile they spent 10 minutes trying to 1v6 and still getting out damaged and less elims than the solo tank and solo healer? Edit: I’m hard stuck plat since comp was released.

I know many say that it's not a good habit to have the voice always muted, but having to deal with angry players having nothing useful to say but profanities and insults gets very tiring after so many years and I rather just not deal with it anymore.
With regard to Rocket I'd say don't just toss his revive beacon down anywhere; it's fragile and any enemy who knows what they're doing will kill it on sight so it's better to take a few seconds and find a decent hiding place for it (it's got a 50m range so it doesn't need to be right in the action either). Conversely, the beacon from his ult actually has a ton of health so it's really not that bad an idea to just toss it down in the midst of a fight; if the enemies do manage to destroy it the duration will be almost over by then anyway, and they'll have spent that time focusing on shooting the beacon instead of your damage boosted teammates. It also needs line of sight to boost allies so trying to get too clever with putting it behind cover can create problems when it comes to actually doing its job.
I typically get gifted healer and trusty sidekick every match since i main cloak and dagger, but I just can't get the team to the victory. It feels like every team i join people are crazy and dive in solo (when they aren't dive characters) while i spam daggers into their backs.
@Oblinski when you get teammates like this, you have to stop healing them only, as you can't rely on them to carry you. You'll need to look to make plays of your own, or help other teammates that are having more of an impact. Just let the bad plays go in and die, and hope that they can be enough of a distraction for you or another teammates can actually do something valuable.

@ that’s literally how I play her now. My aim is still trash so that’s why I can’t do that much dmg with her. I use her more to pester support and snipers and then just turn invisible and run away or dash away. In direct confrontations, I usually find myself on the losing end because of her squishiness. So I’m basically forced to only attack when I get the element of surprise or else I lose. Even mantis can mess me up in a direct 1v1
