    Put the cleaning magnet in a plastic bag. Removing the bag easily removes the iron dust from the magnet.

    most people dont know earths magnetic north pole is really what we call the south pole and vice versa

    Sir, please avail yourself of the pinnacle of magnetic field viewing. It's called a FERROCELL. And may be purchased from Tim Vanderelli of Ferrocell.com You also may wish further edification by reading The work "Uncovering the Missing Secrets of Magnetism" by Ken Wheeler, soon to be in fourth edition. His discoveries have changed all we ever knew of magnetism. Is short; this changes everything.

      I have had ferro fluid since about 2004. It is neat and interesting but it did not give me the detail that this technique does because it was not easy to freeze it permanently and look at it in detail. It was fun to play with and watch the little spikes pop up and down but I couldn't get much more than that out of it.

      @@SuperMagnetMan I do apologize for the following if is new to you, but sir you are behind the times. A Ferrocell is magnetic field viewing device which consists of two pieces of optically flat glass with a two micron thin mixture of ferrofluid in carrier such as "MouseMilk" (a penetrant oil) and lit with an LED ring from underneath. When a magnetic field interacts with the two micron thin suspension it reveals the magnetic field in total and with absolute clarity of true form. The form it takes is a Reciprocating Processional Hyperboloid. It is now discovered that there are no poles. Magnetic fields only rotate in one direction, and the only difference in the dielectric polarized object is a phase differential in the ratio of 1 to Phi (1.618), the Devine proportion within. I beg you run a search for the Ferrocell on RUclips and finally see what you seek with absolute clearly.
      Please also avail yourself of the works of Ken Wheeler (a true prodigy Savant) "Uncovering the Missing Secrets of Magnetism" on Scribd.org or Archive.org as a free download. Mr. Wheeler never sells his works they are free. Also if you wish to delve into the roots of his discoveries download "Pythagoras Plato and the Golden Ratio" also free, where Mr Wheeler discovered the hidden formula of the Pythagoreans in the "Divided Line" and "Plato's Cave" analogies, lost to us for over 2400 years while translating Plato's Republic. ONE OVER PHI TO THE POWER OF NEGATIVE THREE. Again I contend this changes everything.

      @@copperhead2534 Sorry for the delay - since the 3rd dimension is only 2 microns thick - that is technically 3D but not quite as useful as this is - for me anyway.

      @@SuperMagnetMan Sir, the two micron thin suspension provides a 3d ultra holographic effect. The field is seen to be many inches deep. It provides a view better than a true "art" type holograph. Please just try it. There are many videos on youtube of the devices that can even easily be made at home.

    magnets still hide many secrets and can help us in the future with some of humans biggest problems.

    "What is the world's biggest magnet?" 'World's' implies that they are asking about something ON the Earth. If you have a very large wooden shelf, with small boards on it, you can't say the shelf's biggest board is itself. It's a shelf now, and it doesn't have itself either. :D

    Can you have the bouncy magnets on a small scale, and the centre one going through a copper coil to generate electricity? Maybe it could be worn somehow so movement of the body while walking would generate power?

    • @SuperMagnetMan
      @SuperMagnetMan  Год назад

      Yes that was my original idea - to have a small coil of wire and an LED light inside so that bouncing the magnets would make the LED blink:) Could not find anyone to make it though. Might have to try again.

    I have a question about magnets. Why does the North pole of a magnet impart a clockwise torque to the image on a CRT while the South pole imparts counter-clockwise torque?
