There are some of us that truly value the intensity of true melanin. I know we may be few and far between bcz as a lighter skinned woman, people find it ironic that most of my friends (male and female) are aloooot darker. If anything, as a personal opinion, I percieve that dark sudanese skintone as the epitome of true beauty. So maybe it's not said enough, but theres a few of us outliers here who value the darker berry above paler skin.
Thank you for sharing Jules..I love your content and you are my favorite content creator. I listen to So this is Love and IRIP religiously.. you are a gift to humanity. I run a book club. Finding Me will definitely be our March Book Of The Month
As a dark skinned babe I gotta admit I related so much with you and I guess that's why I follow and love your content. You and Maureen Bandari represent dark skinned babes very well. Both of you are really gorgeous.
Why do i love you this much Jule,me following you everywhere..i watch over 25,,its related, your channel,so this is love only because you are in..Gosh its the way you are so real, you say as it is...love you gal
Funfact whenever Jules talks about her weight and color am like whaaaat the way i admire everything about you 😮 Jesus!!! anyway i only feel your mentality was created from childhood now its stuck in your mind 😮 You are sooo on your very great size you have an amaaazinnng skin color with beautiful teeeth your soo beautiful Jules I wish i had your everything just know am small but working on adding atleast 2kg but failed so darling that which you have is being admired by someone be happy love Lots of love from Uganda 🇺🇬 ❤
Jules…Wow… just thank you. Because it felt like you were speaking to me and validating how I feel about myself. Also, post c*vd, my asthma worsened na it was also the d- variant. Well, thank you and I genuinely love your vlogs!
Wueh!about body image...ive been tiny since birth😄 n people thought i'll gain weight after birth but wueh!baby fat ilinikataa katakata.i always dreeam that one day i'll atleast have visible hips😂😂😂
But Jules and other people having body images issues, where does this come from?why do you all feel the need to see someone on TV as a lead role to up y'all self esteem ? Because i grew up in kenya and i never experienced the body dismorphia,Nor colourism ,i saw people on TV etc and am just like ok nice film ,nice movie moving on. Because Jules you are actually beautiful, see you are one of those people you just glance at and say "heh! si uyo dem nimsupuu" ,so i just dnt get why you feel the need to like see the likes of Viola Davis to make you feel pretty. Gai sasa ungepewa sura personal ungesema nini? I think its high time we just accept who we are , ie i know i am not the prettiest in the room neither am i ugly! I am a normal woman with an average look. Once we establish that, we will never feel the need to like want someone to assure us. The only problem i struggle with is weight!i wanna maintain my 60 kg ,but looks or skin tones shit nah ! I dnt care i know where i stand so no one can tell me shit!.
You're lucky not to have had colorism growing up. At my high school, we had a chic who was quite dark, she had been nicknamed "After Midnight" and it was very funny at the time. Primary school, my best friend's nickname was "Kiwi" the shoe polish. To emphasize on how dark skinned she was...Thinking of it now? It was so damaging especially to both their self esteem. I'm pointing out to tell you, you're lucky not to have gone through that...
@@wairimu8611 i understand that ,my nickname was kafupi /nyadundo , i actually never felt like it affected/affects me. I am 5'3 and my sisters still call me short 🤣🤣 , but i know i am not short ,cos i have seen shorter people than me.imagine ati me letting that affect me to a point where i celebrate every short person on TV to make me feel validated. Gai! Can never be me. Mimi na hii ufupi yangu ndio niko , na siwezi change.
@@wairimu8611 Aki dnt even bother explaining. Colourism exists so much in Kenya and I have experienced it big time. Most Kenyans will tell you ati you know that's Western stuff. 😏 As a Kikuyu kwanza you will hear all kinds of comments. Light skinned is what is loved and considered beautiful. But that doesn't mean I have not learnt to love my dark skin. I will tell you for sure colourism exists.
You watch too much TV and follow western ideologies that i don't think apply here. You're the ideal African girl, why even review yourself with western ideals
Why do women feel the need to be right all the time... If you add weight..work on it. Period. I feel bad when I see women who weigh more than a man in their 30s...
