    One, Range will cure the 8 to 4 issue, GREAT. Two, inspection will of course see the device, they NEED to plug into that OBD port. Three, the FLUSH will cure the shuuder.

    How does stopping it from going to v4 fix the issue of the wrong fluid being put in from factory

    • @Corvette-Dan
      @Corvette-Dan  4 месяца назад +1

      @@LT1z51 That is a good question but it seems to work. The V4 mode makes the trans hunt gears more which overheats the fluid compared to V8 mode. Thanks for watching and commenting. Thanks for watching and commenting. I like drag racing so I stuck with an automatic on this one. That and Corvette Debbi can drive it too. Stay tuned! @Corvette-Dan

    We sold both our 2012 Gand Sport and 2007 Z06 because all Corvettes have too many expensive mechanical defects. You could not give us a Corvette for free. Keep your problem...

    No 4 cylinder mode

      Yup. I disabled mine too. If I want to drive a 4 cylinder, Which I do sometimes, I get in my Cruze and head off to work. Thanks for the spot on comments. Keep them coming. Corvette Dan.

    Not a fix - just a jury rig. Learn the Engineering and read the Tech Bulletins. It's important to keep the VLOM flushed and active.

    • @Corvette-Dan
      @Corvette-Dan  Месяц назад +3

      @SkyhawkTL Hello Skyhawk. I appreciate the comments and suggestion. The average consumer should NOT have to "learn the engineering"! Considering that the courts shut down GMs multi million dollar push to get the lawsuit against them dismissed shows how they care only about the bottom line and not the customer! To even suggest it is short sighted to say the least. The "fix" is just another example of GM shoving substandard quality down our proverbial throats and washing their hands of it. Cracked rims, overheating Zs, PCVs integrated into valve covers, 8 speed transmission problems, the list is never ending. This "fix" is a work around for another poorly engineered GM subsystem. @Corvette-Dan

      @SkyhawkTL Месяц назад +2

      @@Corvette-Dan yes, the average consumer, and most Corvette owners, don't "have to learn the Engineering" before THEY start modifying a Corvette. But today's Corvette is impressively more complex than the era's before and I appreciate GM's efforts, both front and rear engined.
