If you watch their early sound check videos, Pau and Ale learned to chill out and save their energy for the show. But Danny did sound checks with the same passion she has in front of an audience. What impresses me is how comfortable they appear regardless of where they perform. Seasoned professionals at such tender ages. Of course, they have been at this for over ten years! And they have been playing their instruments for a bit longer than that.
I laughed when I read this comment. I had a dog that when he slept you could see his little paws going as if he was chasing a rabbit in his sleep. When I read the line playing their instruments longer than that, the image of them snoozing in a chair with their arms playing air guitar/drums as they slept, as if they were practising came to mind. I wouldn't be surprised if they did actually practise in their dreams as they are so dedicated and got good so fast. The last years just seems to be them refining their craft.
I know how you feel. I actually refer to them as “your nieces” to my wife😅 I feel like a proud uncle as well even though I don’t personally know them. I care as much about them as I do my actual nieces.
There’s lots of proud uncles and aunties in the Warning Army. I think apart from the obvious talent, killer writing and obvious performance skills, we’ve watched them grow up over the years. It’s been one of life’s great pleasures 😊

For 2 years I've tried to convince Gran Maestra Suprema Dany to sell me one of her Spearfish as she has two exactly the same except for the finish. She just laughs and says "no way" as all of her guitars are like her children. 🤘😂

These ladies have the largest number of "Uncles" ever assembled. Having watched them grow-up on RUclips, there is a sense of ownership and pride, as if they were truly members of our families.
I just love how Dany's voice sounds on this! Not sure if it is due to the lyrics in spanish but there is just something about it I can't quite figure out. Her voice on Amour is also just amazing as well.
Thanks for another TW reaction Jimmy. Yeah, there are a lot of us Warneros who feel that same proud uncle feeling you describe (maybe we could call ourselves Tio Warneros? The uncles who have been Warned). One of the most interesting things about this album is that nearly every song is on someone's favorite list, and at the same time on someone else's least favorite list. I think that goes to thoughtful writing and great presentation. This one got me from the very beginning. It is a beautiful ballad that does not require knowing Spanish to understand the feels of it. It seems pretty clear that these women can convey emotion live in any setting, to any size crowd, with any (or very little) instrumentation and equipment, like few groups I have ever seen. That is the magic of TW to me.
I feel exactly the same way about this song. It feels 'powerful', I've always thought it was perfect for a movie soundtrack where something heroic is happening. I hope to see it happen someday soon. Maybe Rudy has the connections to help that along... In this version you can clearly hear a riff that gets buried in the mix of the studio/ mv version. It's the only knock I have of David Bendeth's mix. That riff can be heard in the live cell phone video when this song was first played in their short Argentina tour. I really like these videos from the radio station because they show how really talented the girls are. They are completely out of their comfort zones here. Pau is in a little glass box with a strange drum set. Ale is out by herself, trying to avoid eye contact with a camera in her face. Dany is trying to sing a very difficult song, with people walking around behind a glass wall. They are all wearing ill-fitting headphones, instead of their usual inearz. Given all that, the song sounds great. Most bands probably wouldn't even give something like this a try.
