In a way, its a good thing that Ben Marvin was Grounded for Something, What it was Doesn't Matter, because in his boredom Something Great Happened, he learned to play the guitar! Today, He's Really good!!
Ben Marvin muscles up on the second lead guitar. This version was first rocked out by Australia's CGP Tommy Emmanual, the finest guitar player to come out of OZ.
You’ve forgotten Tommy’s late brother, Phil, who many thought was better than Tommy. Phil usually played lead and Tommy rhythm, when they played together..
@@roybeckerman7843, I was a big fan of Phil's. He only released one solo recording/CD, and it was a ripper. Sadly he smoked to much and died of lung cancer. Don't smoke, folks!
2mins 53,Hanks KCP signature Amp,to the right,he was using that amp from 2000 onwards and at 0.23 a white Pinnacle amp behind Ben on the right, made by Charlie Hall who programmed Hanks Q2 and Q20 Echo units.
Looks like Ben Marvin would prefer to be a way out heavy metal guitarist. Much prefer the original where John Rostill's bass comes through (but it is a studio recording) I don't think you can modernise Shadows music with fuzz.
Like father like son brilliant ❤️
What a great guitarist Hank is along with his son.

Hank Marvin the Legend!
Came for the Hank, stayed for the Pino
the Raybeats did a great version as well back in 1980, excellent rendition here
Hank t'es le meilleur !!!
Ben you're good son, but this is how it's done!!!

Great work Ben 😜
Hank and Ben make it look so easy!

If Tommy ever played Flingel Bunt anything like this he copied Hank. This rock 'guitar battle' version dates back to at least 1995, possibly '94.

There seems to be some here who are confused about who wrote this: *Marvin/Welch/Bennett/Rostill*

Were they both playing Fender amps on this show? Seem odd and rare for Hank, but I can’t see any Vox or Mattchles amps, any help?

@@michaelsillett6247 I see a HiWatt

Sick tune
The drum fills should have stayed more in keeping with the original. In my opinion anyway.

Pino on bass , complete !!
Who dislikes this.....
That liten48 vunt who has no idea what he is talking about
It's outrageous!
Whoever watched this and disliked weren't forced to watch it. Idiots!!
Was this performed in 2016? If so, I'd like to pick Hank's brain for *life extension* tips.
2004
Manque les petits pas de danse avec Bruce Welch
u wouldnt think this was the same guy that recorded the orignal would ya chezz hank that was aweful
That was amazing mate just a modern spin hank has not lost his touch
Blame the roadies and soundies , hank played perfectly
Being updated and sounded cool
Far from the original hits.
Ben ruined it.
I liked it but i do agree it was weird it just sort of over complicated it for me ruined it a bit to be fair
Its a modern twist
