I can relate to this as well. I've been in retail mgmt 25 years, smiling but crying inside, hating my job. Trying to get a bakery business off the ground with a lot of support, realizing after hearing this that my fear of failure is my problem!! I'm debt free now, so the excuses are over!!!

Anthony, You are a youth pastor. It's just in a different sphere. Truly you contributing more than if you would have been in a church. You have your own RUclips channel, you have classes, you pour yourself into others in many ways. What you are doing is just as valuable if not more because it's multidimensional not just spiritual. The reach and impact you have is far greater. The modern terms may be influencer, life coach or mentor to name a few. Your content is relatable, relevant and refreshing.
My life was so similar. Now all I’m striving to do is become my best self and get in my calling and be able to have a family of my own and show them a different life then I had.

Wow...just wow...never thought that the failures can add to me in that way. Sure I thought it built resilience and sure I thought it creates depth/compassion toward our human experience. But the way Tk was speaking to the better version that we can become because of them and AO speaking to the fact it’s an essential part of growth. I just thought failure was something to overcome or avoid and now I see the paradigm shift. It’s the part that I’m missing in my most authentic life. Thanks again for another great episode.
