You should be very proud. You did an excellent job. I was holding my breath when you took the paper off. I looks beautiful. I have not tried infusible ink. Now I will. Your grand daughter will love it!
Nice Job .... I just picked up my infusible markers and been browsing through some videos on using em... Let me say that this video is the one i'm saving .. Straight forward , No BS and the job came out perfect ... Thank You
This is SO freaking GORGEOUS!!! I just ran across these pens in Michael's and it absolutely blew my mind 🤯 I thought: "no way... I have GOT to see this!", and I gotta say... I picked a great video to check this out!!! You made a stunning gift, yes, but also just watching and listening to you create this was so fun and enjoyable. You make me want to bust out some of my more neglected craft supplies and get get creative! You're so clear and detailed and easy to follow; additionally you're personality and charm just made it so fun! Consider me subscribed! I can't wait to go through your other videos and see what else I can learn ❤😊❤ Thank you!!!
I’ve not watched your videos before, but I definitely have subscribed now. I love this. On my way to buy a sequined pillowcase to make one for my granddaughter.
Oh my Comadre! It came out great! As a grandma I can understand the love that you put when we make something for our grandkids, you gotta new subscriber, thank you so much for going into great detail on your project. I have a Cricut and I’m about to get it out of the box and start using it, I already watched about 30 tutes , lol, I don’t want to ruin the machine or the pillow. Thank you!
Oh I'm so happy it helped. Yes, my grandbabies are everything to me. Make sure to check out my blog at acraftylatina.com for more project ideas as well.
This was soooo cool. I don’t even like sequins, but now I want to make one of these pillows. I’m new to the infusion thing. And I purchased the Cricut infusible ink markers but wasn’t sure if you could use the same markers for machine and free hand coloring. Or if they could only be used in the machine. I know it seems naive but, I was confused because I also purchased the infusible markers made for free hand coloring. Which that set doesn’t have as many colors as the 30 color set that is placed in the machine. So thanks for clarifying and thanks for the video
Haha! I'm not a sequins person either but the darn thing is so cute you can't help it and just keep swiping up and down to see it :-). I'm so glad it helped. Yes, it can all be so very confusing and there are so many different markers. Good luck, I hope you make one.
No I’ve actually waited a day or 2 on some projects. The heat is what activated the process. I haven’t tried waiting longer but I don’t think it’s a problem.
Yes, that’s what I used. They say the laser printer paper is better because it withstands heat more but I used my regular inkjet printer paper and it bled through the paper, which I didn’t care about.
Do you have to take out the inside of the pillow? I didn’t see any of that happen lol. I’m excited to try this but would like to get it right! Thank you
Yes, sorry. Do not iron with the pillow in it. I purchased the sequin cover on Amazon and used a pillow I already had. Good luck, it's so much fun to see the final product!
if it's for sublimation it has to be something that can go over 360 degrees; not sure how hot an iron gets. But you can certainly try. If you're just using regular HTV, an iron is just fine.
I used a sequin pillow cover from Amazon and I didn't have laser print paper so I used the inkjet copy paper I had. That's why the ink bled through the paper but it still worked great. Enjoy using them, it's so much fun to color again.
I’m new to this. So, from what I’ve seen in various videos, we have to colour in pictures drawn by the cricut? I thought it’s cricut gonna do the colouring just like the regular pens on card stock for cards? Ty
If you use a thing called hashfills the cricut can fill in the drawing but it's time consuming for a large project. I did a small keychain with infusible ink markers.
You have to use laser copy paper. Inkjet paper doesn’t contain the COATING to 1) allow the ink set ON as on laser paper and 2) release/transfer the ink as laser paper will allow. You can use that regular paper, but the result will not be the same solid quality.
Unfortunately, the Cricut machines only can outline images. The pens do not move in a way that can color inside. It was fun though, I hadn't colored in years :-)
@@ACraftyLatina Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question, i appreciate it. I also haven't colored in years, your pillow project was really dope. I mean awesome.
This was an older version of Cricut Design Space at the time. If you have v6.11.108 then you're good. It will look a little different because it now has the Offset feature as well.
The link to the project can be found on my blog's resource library. Go to www.acraftylatina.com and click on Resource Library. There are many files there for your use.
I could not be happier either I squealed when I saw the finished result
Haha...that's awesome!

Me: 😍 "like"
Hi after you've coloured it in how long do you have before ink dries. Does it have to be done straight away thank you
No I’ve actually waited a day or 2 on some projects. The heat is what activated the process. I haven’t tried waiting longer but I don’t think it’s a problem.

Hi! As this just regular printer paper that you use to draw on? Copy paper in my printer ?
Yes, that’s what I used. They say the laser printer paper is better because it withstands heat more but I used my regular inkjet printer paper and it bled through the paper, which I didn’t care about.

Yes, sorry. Do not iron with the pillow in it. I purchased the sequin cover on Amazon and used a pillow I already had. Good luck, it's so much fun to see the final product!
Do I need an easy press or could I use an iron for small labels?
if it's for sublimation it has to be something that can go over 360 degrees; not sure how hot an iron gets. But you can certainly try. If you're just using regular HTV, an iron is just fine.
I just order my infusible pens can’t wait, what material did U use N is that copy paper

I’m new to this. So, from what I’ve seen in various videos, we have to colour in pictures drawn by the cricut? I thought it’s cricut gonna do the colouring just like the regular pens on card stock for cards? Ty
No, Cricut can draw the outline for you but it cannot color in the images for you.
If you use a thing called hashfills the cricut can fill in the drawing but it's time consuming for a large project. I did a small keychain with infusible ink markers.
Can you use them on cotton tshirts
Unfortunately infusible ink only works for polyester fabrics.
Ok question is this reg copy paper n also how do you get the cricut just to trace out line do u search outline images only plz help I love this
You have to use laser copy paper. Inkjet paper doesn’t contain the COATING to 1) allow the ink set ON as on laser paper and 2) release/transfer the ink as laser paper will allow. You can use that regular paper, but the result will not be the same solid quality.
Yes, that is exactly right. Thank you for replying :)
Do you always have to color in your designs by hand? I'm just wondering if you could use any of the cricut machines to color things in instead.
Look up hashfills-that will help color it with the machine.
wow
Did you paper pe while you colored ?
Do you mean did the paper bleed through? No
This is awesome!! Is this a special sublimation pillow case or just a normal sequin pillow case?
Thanks, so much fun to do! It was a regular sequin pillow cover I purchased on Amazon..here's the link just in case amzn.to/3ynDze7
@@ACraftyLatina Thank you! Am going to have to try this out myself!
Is this a normal pillow or does it have that coating on it ?
Hi Denise, this is a normal sequin pillow I purchased on Amazon. If you look for sublimation pillow blanks it should come up.
It must have the coating if her reply says "sublimation"
They should put all the pens in order like all fusable ink in one group, calligraphy in another group, draw group
I know, it's never simple with them.
do you know if its washable?
Yes, it is. It is permanently on. I would handwash or on delicate becaues of the sequins but the ink is not coming off
My cricut design space looks nothing like this. Am I missing something?
This was an older version of Cricut Design Space at the time. If you have v6.11.108 then you're good. It will look a little different because it now has the Offset feature as well.
