That’s awesome!! I just spent $50 on the pens and was scared I was going to have spend a mint on paper , when I already have a stack of printer paper here at home !!! Thank you !!! Can’t wait to try these pens out !👍🏼
Thank you SO SO much for making this video. So so helpful! I almost ran out to the store (30 minutes away) to get the laser paper. You saved me money and time away from my crafting. THANK YOU!!
I've been watching your channel nonstop since I got my cricut. Of all the tutorial channels for this sort of thing, when I am looking for specific info, I search Makers Gonna Learn first. So far, I am preffering you guys over all of the other channels. I enjoyed the cleaning tutorial. And I love the comparrison videos! I think we all definitelly appreciate the great effort you put into creating your content. However, the reason I absolutely had to finally comment is because... I LOVE RACHEL... Her dialogue with the viewers is perfect, I chuckle while she is talking and that is a huge reason I love watching her. Keep up the great work y'all! @TheLadyLegend
First off, THANK YOU!!!!!! You are so sweet!! Thank you for your kind words about our channel, and for all of your love and support! This kind comment has made my day! I'm so glad you enjoy my content and the way I interact with you all! So nice to hear! Have a fantastic Christmas! :)
Wow!! Worked soooooo well on 20 lb copy paper!!!! I colored my daughters drawing and just pressed it on a shirt!! She’s going to be so excited when she sees it in the morning!! Oh, and I used it on two shirts so far and it still looks like I can use it again and again! Thanks for the vid!!
The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system ruclips.net/user/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.
Wow, your laser paper was $25! Glad I bought mine on amazon, it was only $7.99, though I wish I had waited for comparison videos like these to find out how the regular paper worked (I already have a pack of regular). Thanks for doing this!
OHHH MYY GOODNESSS!!!! I was NOT expecting that result! My mouth dropped open when you revealed the regular printer paper result. I think I actually gasped LOL.. Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!
Thank you SO much for this video. I was going nuts trying to figure out what type of paper works best for infusible ink. Makers Gonna Learn has a video for everything Cricut related and this has helped me so much since I bought my Cricut.
Thank you for this video! So excited it works with regular copy paper. Been wanting to try a project but was stimed by the paper situation. I just have the pens (not the markers), & praying it works as well.
i loved this i bought a mixed laser printer and inkjet paper.got whole ream for 10 bucks.... woo hoo using it !! thanks so much. Also i dont really like that you can see the draw lines however...
Wow!!! GREAT EXPERIMENT and SO APPRECIATED!! I do have one question…. Do you think washing would make a difference in the long term quality (laser vs regular)? I hope this isn’t a dumb question. I’m still kind of new (definitely new in the infusible ink area) to Cricut and wondering if the type of paper used makes the ink set differently? It certainly looks the same! Again, thank you for the truly valuable lesson!
You cannot. ANY image you plan on using with Infusible Ink needs to be smaller than the heat plate you're using. On a household iron, the heat plate is small, does not distribute heat evenly, or get up to the degree needed to properly transfer. Here is a video that will help ruclips.net/video/uoevu9Fk8x0/видео.html
I made my 5yr old a shirt with out washing and it came out really good and even after the design was already on there I washed it and it still looks amazing
This is fantastic thank you!! Question I would really like to print a photo on to a mug, so I am wondering what is the easiest way to do this. I do not have a sublimation printer. I look forward to your reply. Thank you in advance.
Big Question: So just regular printer paper for everyday use in general? I have an inkjet Also I bought sublimation paper on accident and have no sublimation ink. Can I use these pens or markers on that if I wanted?

Thank you so much for this comparison! It was exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to try it out.
I have been using multi purpose printer paper, just because it said it was good for laser printers. Works great.
I thought the regular copy paper looked even better too. This is so good to know! Thanks!!
SHOCKED!!! now I can do some Easter stuff tonight without having to shop for laser paper during covid lockdown! Thank you!!

Have fun! So glad you enjoyed the video!!
Thanks for publishing this video. I’m curious, do you know how the two compared in a wash test? Thanks again!
I’m so happy I seen this video. I went out to look for laser copy paper yesterday and ended up not buying it because of the price. Thank you so much

Thank you for showing that! You guys are great!!
Our pleasure!
The rcp looks like it bled much more than the lpp. I think the lpp is more dense and holds the ink together in a tighter line
thank you!!!! the comparison is amazing....wonder how it washes?
I am soo thrilled about the results... I absolutely love your comparison videos ...Thank you so much for sharing :)
thank you for letting us all know about laser paper vs regular copy paper.
Any time!
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!
Glad I could help!
How does it last when washed? What are the care instructions?
This is my biggest question.
the blue on the regular looks better....glad you did this for us!
Thank you!
Now thanks for this video. I'm trying to figure this out
Thanks for the NICE comment :)
do you think it would work on 20lb copy paper too?
This video was a lifesaver!
That is so sweet of you to say! We're happy to hear that!
I love listening to you lol thank you for this I’m trying this out tonight
Hope you enjoy!😀
Thank u so much. Can u use any shirt or does it have to be a cricut blank
I had already started with regular paper but project had not finished coolin I was so happy
very useful your video, i have no idea how use the infusible ink pens . thank you!! I'm happy
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching and commenting!!
Wow 🤩 thank you! I am also blown away!
Will this work on the infusible mugs?
What kind of shirt did you use. Cotton? Poly?
I'm so happy I found this video...
Thanks for watching!
I am thrilled at the results! I can't wait to start using my regular copy paper and getting some stuff made! Thank you so much!!
Thanks so much! You’ve saved me time and money! Love both of you!
Yay! Thanks for watching Cindy.
Have you tried the regular copy paper in the mug press? I think with the bleed through you just might have to add a few layers of the paper?
Wow!!! I was recommended laser paper. Woohooo going to save heaps!
Yay!!
Can you use regular copy paper in cricut cup press
Thankyou!!...I agree, more vibrant on rcp.
How did it do after a wash did either one fade
Did the copy paper allow the ink to get through to the Easy Press?
Rachel is shooketh!!
Thanks for watching!
My concern is, wouldn't it have bled onto the press? Will it be on there the next time you use it?
Thank you for the video. It was so helpful to me.
I'm so glad! Thank you for watching and commenting!
i loved this i bought a mixed laser printer and inkjet paper.got whole ream for 10 bucks.... woo hoo using it !! thanks so much. Also i dont really like that you can see the draw lines however...
Thanks!! We understand
How will it wash though, the regular copy paper image?
Just as well! :)
What kind of shirt it is cotton or Polyester? Newbie here ... thank u
Here's a 100% polyester shirt: amzn.to/3nxmuaf
@@MakersGonnaLearn thank you
Thank Rachel, you save us money.
Yay!! So glad you enjoyed this video!!
Do you have a video with photo copy paper with infusible ink
We do not

Glad to hear!
So is the sublimation paper you can use ?
This is amazing thank you for trying!!
what tshirt type ...100% cotton or poly blend?
Thank u for this video i love being able to craft and save money especially when most craft supplies r pricey anyways so thank u again
You're so welcome!
Have you tried it on sublimation mugs?
Thank you! Super helpful!!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching and commenting!!
Thanks for sharing this video. Can I use cotton shirt for this project?
Does this fusible ink have to be ironed onto the special cricut shirts or will it work on any cotton t shirt?
No, you cannot use cotton. The item must be at least 65% polyester. Here's a video that will help :) ruclips.net/video/TpugMN4xopY/видео.html
Yesss! Thank you so much for the comparison! Cant wait to get some and use some images from MGL! ❤️
Yay!
Thank you for doing this for us....amazing!❤️
No problem 😊 Thank YOU for watching and commenting!
Wow!!! GREAT EXPERIMENT and SO APPRECIATED!! I do have one question…. Do you think washing would make a difference in the long term quality (laser vs regular)? I hope this isn’t a dumb question. That's a good question. I was wondering that too. Hopefully they answer!
Amaaaaaazing!!! Thank you so much!!
I’ll be returning my unopened 23.00 pack of laser paper!!! Amazing!!
WooHoo! That stuff isn't cheap!
Thank you for the comparison video but can I use 100% cotton t-shirt or does it have to be a Cricut blank
You cannot use 100% cotton. The shirt needs to be at least 65% polyester :) The more poly, the deeper and darker the color.
Awesome comparison. Thank you for your due diligence!
Thank you for watching Vanessa!
Thank you
So cool! However I am curious, Did it hold up just as well after washing?
Yes, it did!!! Great question!
Can i use a regular iron to transfer the infusible ink markers
I've used my iron no problems and it's tiny tiny
Ohhhh my gosh. I just got the laser print paper and drove to 3 different stores just to get it. I wish I seen this video before. I also spent $24
You can still use it, or return it haha.
Out of curiosity did anything change after washing?
do you think washing it will make a difference?
I made my 5yr old a shirt with out washing and it came out really good and even after the design was already on there I washed it and it still looks amazing
Wow this is great to know save a lot of money. Thank you.
You're welcome!
It looks like the orange transfered better with the normal printer paper???
Jessie Reed the bottom of the diamond looks a little better on the regular copy paper. The laser paper looks faded but it might just be my eyes, lol!
The reg paper looks better
Finaly someone Who is telling how its works. Thans a miljon
You're welcome!
Thank you for doing this test for us! Now I don't have to buy yet one more material for my projects
You're welcome!
Hi, Rachel- Can you tell us which brand of regular paper you used? Thank you for all the tips.
This is what we used: amzn.to/2YABqdn . Thank you!
Does this work with a printed picture in a regular paper?
No it does not :) You need the special ink for it to transfer
Hi Guys Great Video!!! Would it be possible that I you can tell the brands of those papers? Of the Laser Paper and the Regular Printer Paper? Please
So using Inkjet and Laser paper 28lb okay with infusible ink?
Yes ma'am!
Very helpful thank you for your testing!
What paper do you think is better to use with the markers and aluminum sheets?
Will this work on an inkjet paper?
Sorry, meant inkjet printer
This is fantastic thank you!! Question I would really like to print a photo on to a mug, so I am wondering what is the easiest way to do this. I do not have a sublimation printer. I look forward to your reply. Thank you in advance.
