The world is on the brink of total collapse. Kadoya Tsukasa is a young man who lost his memory, transforms to Kamen Rider to save people from the villans while travels around 9 paralel worlds, and that is the mission imposed to him.

@@danielhao5790 Technically, we don't know if Tsukasa actually died. At the end, Woz mentioned that Decade and Oma Zi-O will be seen again one day (or something like that). It's probably the last time we'll see Masahiro Inoue, though. At least for a while (the guy probably needs a break. After all, he's got a son he needs to spend time with).
I'm biased on the 2 spin offs involving Decade and Zi-O for MULTIPLE reasons, and I won't deny that it made me REALLY confused, but it still had its moments.
We got to see Narutaki, again. (ONORE DECADE!)
We got to see A.R. Yusuke, again (even though it wasn't the real one. Though the real A.R. Yusuke appeared later in the special)
We got to see Kivala, again, even though it wasn't her original actress. (I wonder why they couldn't get her?)
The theme songs sound pretty dope.
Decade Complete Form 21 looks.... Meh. (I could live without the cape)
And look on the bright side. Even if his actor isn't there, Decade is bound to make more appearances throughout the franchise in some Form.

I swear, Tsukasa is what I considered the most badass character. Guy comes back in every anniversary movie (And I love him so much for that) and he proceeds to DESTROY anyone he meets before he has to give up his power and leave again. Like, I freaking love him.

How I described Decade's plot: You know when you are in university, suddenly you are given a surprise assignment and if you fail it you will be expelled. And then you spend time doing the assignment that you literally have ZERO idea on how to do it but you try anyway because you don't want to fail. And then you completed it, you are ready to hand it over, your lecturer give you a "last minute tip" on how to do the assignment, you finally realize that you are doing it the wrong way. So in the end you just, screw this, I'm gonna fail and I don't give a shit. If this doesn't make any sense, don't worry, Decade's plot also doesn't make any sense, so we're even.

More than a decade, I finally understand what's going on in the begining of this episode. Upon rewatching, you can see all of them attacking to direction somewhere close to the camera. You can even see some of them performed their finishing move straight to camera direction.
They were not trying to gank Decade. They're trying to take down the Cameramen! Now it makes sense why they all got wiped out.

It's always so funny how people hate Tsukasa's pictures when I think they look so unique and special. Imagine being able to make a picture look like multiple images without the use of tools or effects.

Most of the people whom he take a photo died in the first episode due to the kaijins that appeared to terrorized the world he currently residing.

@@victormaru8587 Yeah. In fact, the preview they showed had footage and concepts that never made it into the movie. There was another Decade (not the one from Zi-O), a rampaging Kuuga, Natsumii with a gun, Diend dying, Kivala as her own Rider as opposed to Natsumi's transformation device, and even Narutaki fighting in the Rider War.
After seeing the whole Rider series, I like to think that Decade/ Tsukasa is like a secret Rider that was kept out of existence till he's awaken. A reincarnation of the previous Riders before him. An unprecedented child of sorts, that was born to the world unexpectedly with no memories of what his purpose is or what he was meant to actually be. Why he has these powers? Why he can fight? What he was supposed to do? What is the reason for his life or birth? Kinda like Atom from Astro Boy, an advanced robot with a heart of human living amongst humankind.
Most may see Decade as a threat because of his powers and abilities. But he does not see or feel himself that way, so he went on journeys to find his true self and what he truly is behind the fates that of others put upon him.
This is why Decade is one of my favourite Riders. Despite how most would labelled him or how the see him, he keeps on moving forward to find what he really is instead of letting others told him what he is.
Plus, I like his concept, his powers, character, design of his suit and bike, especially the way how he dismount off his bike at 15:40. I mean, can you do that? I would love to try.
I feel that Tsukasa has a lot of qualities similar to that of Captain Jack Sparrow
One big thing I will say about Decade is this... I feel like the forms Decade assumes could have benefitted from a slight redesign to incorporate elements of Decade into the suit beyond being just the other Rider with Decade's belt, but beyond that it seems really interesting

GOD I love the premise of this show!!! I really wish they were more consistent with what this show was supposed to be, and actually gave it a sensible conclusion.....

Rewatching the first episode of this after completing the whole series almost makes you sad. They had SO many plans for this show that went nowhere. It was originally supposed to be a true Heisei anniversary without the Dai-Shocker plotline. The original Decade movie would have included all ( available ) actors from Kuuga to Kiva, and we would have gotten full backstories for both Tsukasa, Kaito and Narutaki... To think they messed up such a cool concept.... Even the All Riders movie that we got instead was a huge mess, and multiple actors who wanted to be part of the movie were either turned down or not invited at all. These included the actors for Rider 1, X, Faiz and Blade. (Luckily we DID get Blade's actor for the finale instead).
getting a "Royal Straight Flush" in a Hybrid King Form / Undead Kamen Rider Blade is a privilege. LoL. and he's the original actor so it's cool.

Ah, the first Kamen Rider series I finished. Its place as my number one favorite was later supplanted by W and, even later than that, Build, but it'll always have a special place in my heart.
The real villain in this series is Wataru Kurenai himself. I mean literally did not visit Tsukasa in his other journeys to remind him to destroy the Riders in order to save the worlds. I mean, if you just tell a mission once to a person, of course he will forget.

I think it just adds more to this series in how it makes you question your own humanity, I mean we know the reason why they did they wanted to protect and save they're own world. and the only way to stop the worlds colliding was to either killed Decade or destroy every other world till only one rider was standing.

The way I see it, Decade is like a paradox. An endless loop with no beginning or end.
This is why decade is my favorite rider, even if it’s an alternate reality, you feel the legacy of the legend riders.

Ahh, my first experience with Kamen Rider. Not the best place to start but I still love this series and enjoyed seeing him return in Zi-O.
it's actually a good spot cause it's AR worlds that dont really spoil their series. So you can see it as a free sample of the 9 Heisei Phase 1 Riders.

Yes! The passing through Kamen Rider is finally here! Decade was actually one of the first Kamen Riders I was ever introduced to after watching Super Hero Taisen all those years ago.
I know some people hate this show due to continuity reasons (even though these are supposed to be Alternate worlds and not the original versions), but I actually really like the dimension-crossing concept. It's something that isn't usually done when it comes to anniversary series.
Anyway, without further ado, it's time to Journey through the Decade! (God, that sounded cringey)
P.S.: The theme song is ultimately one of my favorites in the entire franchise. Gackt did a good job with it.

Kurenai Wataru and Kenzaki Kazuma in this series are just alternate versions from another universes, not the original Kenzaki Kazuma and Kurenai Wataru from Blade and Kiva series.
There are no original Riders in Decade series. All of them are alternate versions from different universes.

Funny Bone threw me off since I was so used to it as Laughter Pressure Point in fansubs, but not much else is off here. Highly appreciate putting this episode up!

Because of mixed reviews of KR Decade,
I started watching Decade expecting nothing and watch just because I have to watch all Kamen Rider in exact order.
But, damn. I glad I did. The opening is one of my favorites, I mean it's a great song sung by a legend.
And I kinda like Tsukasa character as a rider. He's badass, -what can I say? He's the destroyer of worlds- . He appears on a lot of other riders movie/show, come with no warning, and leave with no trace, so cool!
But, yeah, the idea to bring previous riders back but it's totally different person is kinda annoyed me, though I like some of them, especially Yusuke. And badass Kenzaki Kazuma in black is kinda cool.
This episode is part of the reason why Decade is my favorite Kamen Rider season.

Really hope his and Zi-O's story gets reworked after the Decade x Zi-O special. Complete 21 should have been way better than what was shown and Zi-O has a lot of unused potential. Both get hindered a lot by bad writing and deserve better.

Decade was my first Kamen Rider series. It gets a lot of hate, but it's not a bad series. The story is a mess, but it has a bunch of fun moments.

I'm big fans of Kamen Rider Decade since 2013 when it aired on my tv. The comparison power in kamen rider is too hard analyzed but what i'm confidently sure is Decade can transform into any kamen rider from heisei, showa and reiwa(include kamen rider evil, second, third,.... ), include super sentai. While, zio only can use any kamen rider heisei(i mean every kamen rider in heisei) because he is the king of heisei kamen rider and his birth was in 2000. Plus Decade immortal(can't die, aslong as there are people who still remember him, he can come back to alive), he can use his portal to travel any world and time travel. The comparison power sometimes doesn't make sense because Drive>GrandZio, Ziodecadearmorsaberform>omazio.
2011, this being my first season, Made me a Toku fan back then, this year, 10 years later, Kamen Rider Decade became my 100th Toku season watched, happy to see it here at Last
