Man... Patrolling the Mojave makes you wish for a nuclear winter...
I was waiting for someone to make a New Vegas comment.
The low end brass sounds incredible
I'm back!
I can't avoid returning to this video from time to time. Sounds awesome!
MrVinylObsessive Haha, can't beat the Grado sound, can you?
The Voice....Unique and unforgettable
I can close my eyes with this piece and picture the band and Sinatra standing in the middle with a lone stage light shining on him as he croons. Absolutely fantastic!
I see you on so many Sinatra videos and that tells me, you have a great taste in music. Respect to you good sir.
@@Viscount_Castlereagh Seriously? Damn. That means something and has subsequently made my day. Thank you.
Out of interest, what got you into Sinatra and what other videos have you seen me on?
Once again, thank you and have a nice day!
You, my friend, are the sole reason I got my record player.
Thank you.
Wow, I didn't know records could sound this good!
Thanks!
What if you told you this is just what one of my "average" records?
+Stereophonic You should do a video with the same setup playing the MOFI 45RPM Kind of Blue to show DarkMalfunction just how good properly pressed vinyl can sound on a quality rig (I have it, and I know just how good the 3D soundstage is on that version; I also have the 33/33/33/45 Classic version from the mid 1990's and that version is a big warmer in the midrange)
....or use the Music On Vinyl 180gram version of Charles Mingues Ah Um ;-)
I don't have the last you mentioned but a needledrops of the 45 Kind of Blue record seems to be in order! :)
played on decent quality equipment they certainly can.
Very well done! And the sound is excellent :) Serious gear you have there, man! ;D
Thank you! Your setup is pretty awesome too.
A courier sits at top a grave yard hill, looking at the signing lights in the distance, one day he thinks I could make it there, no more local runs around town.
He is suddenly interrupted by a man in a checkered suit with men dressed in old tattered motorcycle leathers.
The last thing he remembers are the words "ring a ding ding baby" as a flash of bright orange fills the couriers view.
Frank will always be number one when it comes to music. thank you for uploading! Now I'm off to play fall out lol
Ring-A-Ding baby
Beautiful recording. Frank is in my head.
of all the vinyl rips, your vpi/grado setup sounds the best. like exactly what i imagine and want vinyl to sound like.
This inspired me to get my first turntable. Thanks for the enlightenment!
That cartridge sounds awesome
Those where the golden years
This is truly amazing, great set up and video. Not to mention that it is vinyl and not a remaster or something else. Keep up the great work :)
+FarmFighter814 Thank you for the kind words. Whenever I look for vinyl, I always look for the version that is most faithful to the original because it always gives the richest sound!
Sounds amazing, is incredible holy shit thank you
Thank you very much! Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss my future posts
Yeah, holy shit is right...it sounds fabulous. :)

Subscribed as a vinyl lover myself. Love Sinatra

Thank you for the kind words! Remember to subscribe so you don't miss my future uploads.
You have listed that the recording you are playing is the 1998 Digital Remaster. If the record you show is the record being heard, the audio is not a digital remaster (with the exception that the audio being heard has been digitized so as to be heard over RUclips). From the source record though Mobile Fidelity does not digitize their recordings for their vinyl issues. They produce on vinyl only direct copies of analog master recordings.
I used to have an Ariston Q turntable which I got second hand. I was quite impressed with it, but it was no match for yours. Excellent sound.
Best sound ! Thank you !
Good recording, but audio on RUclips, to my knowledge at least, is always converted to 128 kbps AAC format, which is not close to FLAC at all, and surely nowhere close to hearing vinyl recordings IRL.
This is a very good recording though since the source is very clean. Some artifacting can be heard, but that is probably the fault of RUclips's audio compression. This is a very clean audio recording by RUclips standards.
Keep up the good work, man. Keep spreading the knowledge of better audio quality. :)
I love vinyl jazz
the way you touched that vinyl i almost had a heart attack
Looks a bit precarious?
Your turnable table is very good
😂 missed the blue moon on August so this blue song is for everyone who also missed it.😂
Blue moon... you saw me standing alone...
It’s weird seeing a moving disc playing such beautiful tunes
vinyl magic dude, stay away from it because is addictive :- B
Impresionante sonido
Very nice turntable and great song. Can't wait to get mine set back up. We been remodeling and my music room has been used as storage. Won't be long tho. :)
This makes me want to take over the Hoover dam
Excellent equipment, and I love the top line Grado carts. If my Rega Bias 2 goes, I think I'll find a way to mount one of those.
Please do! There needs to be some more Grado love in the Audiophile community. Also, thank you!
+Stereophonic I think some in the community are more impressed by cost than competence. That said, this is no cheap cart, and calls for something like VPI Scout or even a much more expensive ($10,000) table. Even so, the Scout does an amazing job allowing the cart to work at its best.
+D. Paul Riderman Thanks!
I definitely agree with you on this one. I think it's just a long time stigma surrounding "budget" components that don't cost you your kidneys. XD
Así se escucha el oro, que divino ♡
outstanding. thanks
This video is great, I'd like to know if that is a reissue (seems to me like it is but I want to be sure.
I've got this song in a compilation that was released only here in Argentina, "Frank Sinatra and Nelson Riddle, 20 greatest hits". EMI-Capitol released a lot of compitlations during the eighties, specially quite a number of 20-greatest-hits records, and the good thing is that they took the original masters and made the compilation from these tapes, not very common over here.
I love the arrangement that the double bass plays in 3:06, a little pause and then that 5-times-repeated note.
Yes, it is a reissue from the original masters tapes. I believe this one is from 2012.
I also agree! Brian May's arrangements are pure genius and fit the style so well!
+Stereophonic Sorry, meant to say Nelson Riddle.
bello questo montaggio,molto accurato Bravo!
Very good!
Nice rig you have there, but you mentioned the Blue Snowball mic as part of your recording chain. Does this mean that you've recorded the music with your speakers and the Blue mic? It doesn't sound like a microphone recording!
No, I just use it record the sound of the album before my pulled out and other things like that.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm using the built in ADC in my MacBook Pro.
Stereophonic
Thanks, sounds very nice!
I also like to use mics and digital recorders to put sound on the intros of some of my videos!
MrVinylObsessive I really like what you did with "Dreams" at the beginning. Also, thanks!
Played this when I was in the Mojave desert. 1000% better
0:48 for myself, song starts here
Holy. Fucking. Shit...I bought a new head set and wanted to them out and this absolutly blows everything else ive listened to out of the water, thank you
Thank you! Glad to see more people are recognizing the sound of vinyl.
Fantastic!!
nice, just earned a subscription my friend. :)
Pleasantly
good equipment gives best siund
That was beautiful! Thank you. In your opinion, what would you consider the best quality turn table or record player brand? Both classic players and current if you don't mind?
Thank very much for the kind words and happy new year!
The "best" will always depend on your budget. Cheapest modern turntable I would go for is the AT-60. Cheapest classic being an belt driven Thorens turntable. What is you budget? That would be useful to know.
+Stereophonic Hi, I got the same question. My budget is $500, what do you think will be the best?
+bazazam I would recommend the AT-120 turntable. It's $300 USD and it has everything you need to hook up to your stereo! Save the other 200 for records my friends.
Thank you, I've looked around and decided to take your suggestion. Kudos to you and your top-tier edited videos!
Вечная Вам Память ! Фрэнк Синатра .
Is this a mono or stereo pressing? Sounds great
I played this through my own blue tooth vinyl record player and
oh my god.....it’s...how do I even describe it?
Temazo maravilloso
Salutes of the argentina :)
Excellent my friend! Will you have the song my way on Vinyl? Please...
I wish I had better headphones to listen to this...
Lovely. :)
VERY nice warm and musical to 6 grade 😎
for an mp3 file its sound not bad..
Wow this is the best mastering of this song ive heard ever. Too bad the record goes for silly money now.

ENG: Sound very good, only that the sound of vinyl record and also some digital recordings have same error or damage (as beat a Subsonic sound) at 01:00 Min:Sec (here 01:49), this version confirm my comentary... ruclips.net/video/ZbJHAnExgiw/видео.html

fantastic song. = i have EP -vinyl - BULGARIA -FRANK SINATRA. = alex. ukraine.
good tune but Dino sang it better than Frank did...was that label Capitol????!!!!!..Stereophonic who the better singer Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin???!!!..I love Dean
Haha...I guess you have me cornered so I better answer. I have to say Dean Martin has a fineness and intimacy but Frank Sinatra has a gusto that's fun to listen to.
They still can't beat Nat King Cole though :)
Does not matter, both were exceptional.
You need some Nat King Cole, a very good singer and extremely good sound quality on a turntable like yours.
