oh thats nice, thats pretty warm, our water gets down to 5 degrees every winter for a few months... with air in the minus 6 degrees on the good days... with three feet of snow to get through as well... at least most of the great white sharks are gone when its this cold, so thats a plus...
Well done some great set ups you have shown us point breaks like outside mays but not as hollow waves are like here in Tasmania. I think you have been a bit naughty
Visited a friend in NZ before and we flew to south island (Queenstown) to bungee jump and fly a plane at Wanaka then drove all the way to north. Heard Dunedin but my friend just shrug the idea to surf since it's cold he said lol
Missed out on Great Uncrowded waves. It's Hard not to think about the cold water and outside temp, but when you see an incredible wave breaking with 3-4 guys out the last think in your mind if you really enjoy surfing will be the temperature of the water.
Good on ya for removing the spot names. If people are that keen, travel to Dunes, talk to locals and find them yourself. Most locals in most places don't mind if you put in genuine effort and respect. Plus it's more epic when you stumble apon a great wave.
Think you'd get away with just filming them but not naming them LOL Saying that not many people get to visit the South Island of NZ . Think most people from even the North island haven't even been there LOL
@@lifeinthewave You’re not even able to do that by yourself !? Anyway, tell your friend Chat GPT not to name the spots anymore. It’s a matter of respect for the locals.
Are the Indo like waves in this video or another one?
lol
I have second thoughts when it gets a bit windy in Hawaii.

Don’t bother it’s shit. This video is obviously AI
Nice video man!

Nothing worse than standing on your folded big toe on your first cold wave 🥶

45.8795° S,
170.5006° E😂
a mere 30 minutes drive from Dunedin

No body reads the description anyway
@@lifeinthewaveSo don’t lost your time to name the spots !
@@commercialbreak8290 I didn’t- chat GPT did that for me.

@commercialbreak8290 you need to welcome people of all sorts 😊
Thank you for calling out spots. Kook move
I agree, there's at least 1 spot that should not be in this vid. Could of at least filmed it tighter
Yeah but in reality no one actually cares about those shitty cold waves.
@@bubbabigmin you would know kook
@@johannesdenecke2422 yeah I was getting barreled at Allan’s before you even knew what a surfboard was donkey child.
So that's good there's nothing wrong with that, it's actually very useful information
