I felt the same way, but being ON the float and then on a balcony where I could go into a quiet room if I wanted to really made it feel a lot better. The people on the floats at the Krewe of Krewes parade were actually REALLY GOOD at throwing stuff up there, lol. Think they liked the challenge tbh, lol.

It was genuinely epic! The Childrens Parade was SO CUTE! You should definitely go in Lake Charles
I've never been to Mardi Gra. I don't think I'd do well with the crowds. Those costumes are wild and the dance class looks really fun.
