I love that small moment of Jim pushing Karen out of the way first when Roy headed for him. Not only was it a good boyfriend move, but it looked so naturally done, especially with how hard he pushed her cuz it looked like she rammed into the copy machine.
this is one of my favorite episodes. I love how appreciative Jim was that Dwight saved him and how that whole thing resolved. I've always been a fan of the Jim and Dwight bromance and this episode is one of those great moments that shows off their bromance and how wholesome it really is. also, another great Creed moment. can never have enough of those ❤
note: roy charged jim with karen standing in the way. he was literally going to barrel over her to get to jim. it seems like he either didn't see her or didn't care but either way, if jim hadn't pulled her out of the way and shifted in front of her, she would've been the one taking the initial brunt of the charge. just fucked up
@@TonyB369 He said roy was allowed to get mad. And to be honest the things that the couple, Pam and Roy, were going through at that point makes it obvious that Roy lost it learning Jim broke his marriage. But he never touched Pam when he was angry. It's a fictional TV show and it's a comedy so we don't or won't understand what Roy would be feeling, but the writers do. Pam hid things from him since a loooong time, broke off the marriage because of Jim's kiss but never told Roy 'why' until the cocktail episode. Roy's trying his best to get Pam back thinking he was the reason why she broke off the wedding and tried to make things right. and here he learns that Jim, the guy who said he used to have a crush on her but not anymore, kissed her, Pam doubles down and says she had feelings so she kissed him back too... I think Roy was definitely allowed to get angry about it. And if you didn't know it by now, in the future, Roy actually is happily married to another woman, where he invited Jim and Pam to his wedding. He was never a bad guy, just a wrong fit for Pam and Pam just kept him hanging instead of being honest with her feelings about him.
Pat: "I need this rulebook" Spidey: "It's on wikipedia Pat" Pat: "I'm gonna google it" lmao, they're so used to Pat that comments like this just get passed by like nothing
I never think of Dwight and Jim as enemies or rivals, as the show goes on they look more and more like brothers. Granted, sometimes both of them cross the line but they got each others backs.
as for how much pepper spray hurts, let's put it this way: before johnny knoxville started jackass, he was writing an article about which self-defense methods were the most effective between a kick to the balls, pepper spray, and a taser. the pepper spray was the only one that knocked him on his ass and kept him there, unable to function for more than a couple second before falling down again. this actually was the basis for his idea for jackass (he had filmed it and it was hilarious)
Jackass wasn't solely Knoxville's thing. It was him and Jeff Tremaine for Big Brother. But even before that, Bam Margera's CKY, in the east coast, played a role in the popularity of that stupid hijinks/stunt genre
@@lavenderllamamusic obviously bam/cky was popular and one of the earliest collaborators, but Knoxville, Tremaine, and spike jonze created it from Knoxville's articles, with Knoxville obviously being on "on the ground" ringleader, for lack of a better term. Honestly the whole story is fascinating and hilarious to me lol
I've never been kicked in the balls, but I've been tased in the back, and pepper sprayed in the face. Pepper spray is real bad, but I suspect getting kicked in the balls would be worse. Getting tased isn't too awful, but I couldn't stand while I was being tased because it causes your muscles to lock up. Getting pepper sprayed was much worse, but I was still moving afterward. Then when you go in the shower, the spray reactivates, and it's almost like getting sprayed again.
There’s a reason why a lot of these jokes were edited out. They kill the episode pacing dead and you’re getting a different experience than most of us got on TV.
I haven't watched the super fan episodes but watched a bunch of deleted scenes on youtube, Some of them are really good and add more to the story, some you can tell why they cut or things feel slightly out of character. I think they're good to watch as they flesh out more of what they considered cannon e.g. erin stuff, but not for the first watch through

He said he never asked for a raise. He was given higher salaries because he made more then any other worker. But he never asked for more based on his performance or increase in job difficulty
Also, if he was in sales for part of those years, they may have just given him bonuses or a commission based on the size of the sale, so they don't raise his base salary, just give him extra perks like a vacation to Sandals or a new Sebring.

5:55 real question from a Canadian. Does your employer have to pay your unemployment in the states? Is it not something you apply for through the government?
Pepper spray is nasty stuff. I was at work and some one, out of moronic curiosity, sprayed it a little, into a plastic bag. Still have to clear out a 30 meter radius because it was bothering so many people. Word to everyone, if someone sprays in your area, i.e. in the room you're in, clear out, even if it isn't aimed at you, you will feel it. Not as bad as the person it hits directly, but you will be in a bit of discomfort.
oh, I 've got a good pepper spray story. I work at a high school. One of my students had a small pepper spray on her keychain in case of emergencies. She was in the restroom, and had left her keys on her desk. Another student, who does not read english very well, thought it was perfume and she picked it up and quickly did the "three pump perfume" thing where you try to get it all over your body. She and every kid in the back half of the room were coughing, red-faced, and had rivers of tears coming from their eyes. My eyes were burning very badly, but I was at the front so I avoided the worst of it. Still, being contained in the room with it was awful. We all had to leave and the custodians had to bring in a big fan to air the room out.

I think what he was saying was that he never explicitly asked for a raise. It's still crazy how his salary is lower than Darryl's.
Michael probably made more as a salesman. He was the best in the company and commission would have been a lot. That’s like most waitresses make more than the managers because of tips.
