I’ve watched Darderi for quite some time in challengers, Darderi is a hell of a player. Better watch out for him, not just on clay courts. His power can translate to other surfaces when he decides to make that leap. One to keep an eye on

maybe he chokes up on the handle for better feel, similar to how golf players choke up on their clubs?
I played tennis for 16 years now,competitively. I have never seen anyone ever do this. I personally don't think that it gives you any advantage,but at the same time I've never tried hitting dropshots this way so it could actually help. I'm probably going to try this next time I practice lol
