2 years late but yep. People forget that these bands weren't appreciated at the time. It's quite funny how nostalgia can make people change their minds or perhaps too young to what was considered "bad" at the time.
@@texas.toasty I vividly remember saying cringe in a Myspace post or DM back in 2005 when I was 17. I don't recall that being particularly popular to say at the time. 9:48 I almost ended up buying it. Everyone was wearing it for now reason back in the day.
This is like when you have a flashback to how u used to be and u just crawl into a ball and die from cringing
If it helps, I grew up in the 80's. There are some VERY cringey photos of she-mullets and shoulder pads at my mother's house.
Yeah that does help thank u

I still know all of the words to Sk8er Boy...I think I might have a problem. 😂 I was also obsessed with side swept bangs. I would straighten the crap out of my fringe, sweep it to the side and clip it in place with a decorative hair clip or bobby pin, then spray the crap out of it with hair spray. I'm amazed my hair survived the 2000's straightening craze, it should have burnt to a crisp and fallen off by now. 😂
Dude I always fell for girls with side-swept bangs, It really sucks that it's gone out of style, I think girls looked way cuter like that.
Your pfp makes this comment even better.
Love your user name!!
Damn I'm not the only one🤝
There isn't a single decade where there wasn't cringey stuff.
I still like the long hair bangs TBH...
Also, the Sharpie Convers were neat IMO
I think Danielle panabaker looks good with side swept bangs in Friday the 13th
Aye screw this list, it was about having fun back then 😂
don't know if anyone mentions but I like the common south park cameos in the videos. very entertaining top 10s
Its has always been there trends from the past have always been considered cheesy, cheap and cringey in the future .
This whole list just made me go through some major nostalgia
Same 👌
Big same. Made me miss my early 20s.
I'd take those over dabbing, Twitter, and Tiktok any day.
Exactly.
NAILED IT!...I hated all of these trends when they were fashionable.
Especially the bracelets.
Take It Off by Kesha was one of the best songs on her first album.
Trucker hats are fire. Y’all got no drip
*brings all these fads back simultaneously out of pure spite*
I mean it's so accurate 🤣 i look back and even I'm like damn 🤣 we really thought we were all that some of the stuff i ask myself why though. Why was it so cool 😂
2000's were my jam and I don't remember fedoras ever being cool.
They do a good job in the video of explaining when they were cool....it was just before your time.
Trilby's went out of style not fedoras
Ohhhh they were everywhere
People that hated on the emo rocker scene on the 2000s are the same people that now listening to the same bands because "nostalgia"
2 years late but yep. People forget that these bands weren't appreciated at the time. It's quite funny how nostalgia can make people change their minds or perhaps too young to what was considered "bad" at the time.
To be fair cringe didn’t exist until now.
Cringe has always existed where there's been a youth culture. Where there's light there tends to be shadows with cycles of where they land.
earliest i heard someone say cringe was in 2004 or 2006
@@texas.toasty I vividly remember saying cringe in a Myspace post or DM back in 2005 when I was 17. I don't recall that being particularly popular to say at the time. To me when I thought of cringe it was more like a literal wincing, but caused from disgust of something being cheesy or cliché.
I give you a look at peak cringe from the 2000s : Black Out - "Video Games"
The word cringe didn’t start to become popular until recently
Wellp still was a better time to be alive than what the world has become now...
These are less cringe, and more of just pointless trends. Cool trends though.
The 2000s were freaking cool. It had personality. It had edge. It didn't give a F about offending anyone. The 2020s are far more cringey.
This is not what "cringe" means.
This is CLICKBAIT
I was born in 1998 and growing up in the 2000’s was amazing. I think it was the best time to be a kid!
I never personally owned heelys but I do remember one instance where a friend of mine brought theirs with them to our house and I wanted to try and see what it was like and I literally slipped. Never. Again.
