Magnus, Hikaru, Prag,Markesh, and Ediz you guys must be supercomputers 😅, even it is awesome to use these names in the same sentence. And i manifest and really believe Ediz will make us proud in chess as a worldwide champion for Turkey one day, just don’t know in which tournament.fair play and success to all chess players, y’all chess people are just amazing 🎉🎉
@57c37 If you're still curious and freeze-frame right after Ediz takes the bishop with the rook: Magnus will play Rd5, capturing the rook. Ediz will respond with Nb4, attacking Magnus's rook on d5 while also opening the queen's path to b2, where it can capture the knight. To be honest, I think Magnus's reaction was more about him not seeing it himself, as at that level, it's not considered particularly remarkable.
Looking at the bar, white was already losing and the sacrifice made the white's position even worse, the idea behind it was good but it mainly relied on Magnus to make a blunder which was another mistake as the white was down in time and Magus almost had double his time.
It was a slight oversight by magnus.. don't blame him he was probably working at 10% of his capabilities since his opp was a 15 Yr old.. but kudos to the kid .. he'll remember this for life 👏

Magnus is to chess what Ronnie O'Sullivan is to snooker. I like that it seems both are at a point in their career where they just want to have fun doing their best and enjoy others doing well.

yeah Magnus plays by intuition. he trained himself to recognize patterns n responses to those patterns. that why the closer the game comes to the end the stronger he gets the variables decrease.

rook takes rook, knight b4 threatening to take the rook and at the same time knight b2 hanging. Is this what they have seen?
