Not to help the conspiracy crazies, but contrails aren't just condensation. They are mostly condensation but there is some minor amounts of unburned fuel in it also which helped form them. As jet engines have become more efficient, there is less fuel in the trail, and that is causing them to take slightly longer to dissipate. The fuel is heavier and attracts moisture, making the cloud sink dissipating the trail faster.
Black carbon emissions from aircraft engines also contribute to the formation of contrails, not to mention the other lovely emissions lîke nitrous oxides.

People in my town are genuinely fighting for a braincell every week on facebook. It started with "chemtrails" (we all live within 5 miles of an airport so you can imagine how many times that has come up) and they're now mistaking boats on the horizon and the air force's jets with UFOs. I feel like I'm living in a less comedic Truman show town.

*I saw a documentary a decade ago where they were debunking different conspiracy theories, and when they got to haarp there was a scientist explaining that there is a kernel of truth to the manipulating the weather aspect of it. It can’t cause earthquakes or create storms that’s dumb. But if haarp was a lot bigger and they cranked it all the way up what they could theoretically do is alter a storms trajectory. They could super heat a section of the ionosphere in the path of the storm which would expand that layer of the ionosphere and push it up further into space and with the right conditions the areas of the atmosphere underneath would rush up to fill the void changing the jet stream I wanna say. Idk like I said it was over a decade ago. Can’t remember the specifics. But I want to be clear I don’t believe that haarp as it stands can do anything close to that. Now do I believe the government was doing research to weaponize the weather? Well they spent decades trying to get people to spy on the soviets with psychics so yea probably. I mean they were experimenting with expanding the rainy season in Vietnam so I can’t imagine what they are up to now*

Also from alaska, hello! Alaska has a lot of stuff like the HAARP program, they also shoot rockets at rhe auroras to see how they react. (Simplified version lol).
Alaskan here. I had the chance to do a tour of the HAARP facility over a decade ago and it was a fun time. They're not secretive about it at all and the staff was split between finding the whole conspiracy angle really funny, or being a little annoyed that the Q and A portions tend to be mostly conspiracy stuff. They did have really small scale demonstrations where they could create tiny aurora effects in these 2 foot wide domes, which was pretty cool. It's always kinda funny to see it pop up in media.
These people were allowed to vote. They were allowed to decide who was going to run a main super powered nation 😮 You know everyone has the right to vote, I think we should make exceptions for anyone connected to these kinds of thoughts.

I think in actual words, not images. I can (kinda?) imagine a layout if I _really_ try, like a floorplan, but even then it's not like what other people describe. (I also don't have the "talk to yourself" that people describe as an inner monologue. I only have one train of thought at a time, and I can tell I'm extremely tired when it starts repeating like a stuck cassette tape.} The only time I have mental images is when I dream, and THOSE are extremely detailed and almost like hallucinations. I also have something called alexithymia as a component of my autism, which may be connected. My ex, on the other hand, would immediately see an visual representation of something, rather than thinking in words. So if someone said, "I like apples," he'd see that person's face, smiling, and then a number of apples (he said apples were usually green in his head, probably because he preferred Granny Smith himself). But he almost never had dreams. In short, brains are weird.
I actually live in a place where i watch different contrails across different kinds of sky and I can say: high pressure systems make short contrails, and low pressure makes clouds; you're welcome.
Cloud seeding wasn't a factor in the April flooding in Dubai. There is a video with a retired Navy Meteorologist and he has documented all possible cloud seeding aircraft flights and the atmospheric conditions present at the time. I'll not drop a link because it is long and drawn out, but if anyone is as curious as I am the RUclips channel is called StellaQ and it was their Pilot program of "Weather Or Not?"
@@nuthinasitseems5213 I'm sorry, experts have kind of a bad reputation for covering things up to suit an agenda in recent years. UAE has an active cloud seeding program. Nature cannot be controlled. There's more than a handful of conspiracy theories that turned out to be true. Also, I believe that no one is looking at how building massive cities of glass, concrete and steel is creating micro climates and the effect on the nature as a whole. However, it is fair to say, in this case the flooding in Dubia was 100% manmade, we just disagree on what exactly happened.
Simon, you honestly need to get a better editor. In multiple videos now you've had issues with sound quality, annoying background music constantly playing too loudly and now shaky text that adds nothing to the content except complaints. To the editor: Stop trying to reinvent the wheel, cut out Simon's mistakes, add text when it's a quote or explaining something that some people may understand easier if read and leave it at that.
The Onion did not and does not have the money. They tried to use a complicated scheme to buy Info Wars that sadly isn't going to happen now unless someone rich comes to their rescue.
Random note to editor: the "jumpy" text effects in this one are a bit too fast.... Not bad, but just fast enough to cross the line from "effect" to "annoyance". Love the video as a whole though!!
35:35 i totally agree that people should pickup after their pet (or themselves...) if in the city or really on anyones property that is maintained(or should be maintained). In the woods/forest though, unless its on a trail, picking it up is ridiculous. If you willing let your pet (or you yourself) crap on the trail then you are ridiculous.

Yes Simon, Gigawatts are a real thing - but, much like gigabytes, the correct pronounciation has a hard G sound for *both* Gs.
how else would they sound, lmao
This is because simon refers to it as "Jigawatts" at 9.23 @@adamhousden6349

@@adamhousden6349 Simon always pronounces it as jigga watts, probably on purpose. Maybe. I hope.
@hanfred it's a reference to Back to the Future. That's how Doc Brown pronounced it because Christopher Lloyd didn't know how to pronounce it, and no one else did either.

Can't figure out if the title card character flicker is an intended effect or an editing bug lol
Either way it's very annoying.
It happens through the whole damn video with the text and it’s making my eyes hurt.
It looks intended but I honestly hope to all that is good that it's not
Its the second video i see them use this dyslexia simulator edit.
It is definitely a choice by the editor and annoying as hell.
I'm surprised no one in the team told the the editor to not use this feature.
Im sure its not intended, but none of the quotes through the video are stable. 56:23 is when i decided to look if anyone else had the same problem (as all of the quotes were jumping for me), or just what I was watching it on. I get while editing it might look good, but the render/upload makes it jumpy and next to impossible to read. Rest of edit is dandy, but have to agree, please stop using whatever text filter for quotes.

The twitchy text was a poor choice. It's nearly impossible to read and is a huge distraction. Every time it is on-screen I completely lose track of what's being said.
I suggest you take away the editors food rations for a day and let them think about what they've done.
I mean they were experimenting with expanding the rainy season in Vietnam so I can’t imagine what they are up to now*
I learned a few days ago they also use Harp to de-orbit satellites when it does its thing to the ionisphere.

The red alert 2 reference had me absolutely sent back to my childhood ❤️❤️
Alaskan here. I had the chance to do a tour of the HAARP facility over a decade ago and it was a fun time. They're not secretive about it at all and the staff was split between finding the whole conspiracy angle really funny, or being a little annoyed that the Q and A portions tend to be mostly conspiracy stuff. They did have really small scale demonstrations where they could create tiny aurora effects in these 2 foot wide domes, which was pretty cool. It's always kinda funny to see it pop up in media.

Alaskan here. Loving the show. Keep up the good work y'all.

Going to Alaska and seeing the Aurora Borealis is on my bucket list.
I actually live in a place where i watch different contrails across different kinds of sky and I can say: high pressure systems make short contrails, and low pressure makes clouds; you're welcome.
Dubia flooded in August 2024 due to cloud seeding, so it is very effective just not controllable.
Hey I always love when you talk about my state. My father and I actually delivered some freight up there and got shown a little bit of the facility

I'm a finn and I've never heard of Kaira before. "Kaira" translates to drill or auger, I (and I guess most finns?) associate the word specifically with ice augers. The name seems like a slight mockery towards these conspiracy theories, who knows why *t h e y* are trying to drill into our brains.
This research is also key in maximizing deployment and defense against EMP warfare.
Quick correction from an Alaskan, the town Gakona where HAARP is near is in the Interior not in Southeast. UAF has a open house at the station every August with a bus from Fairbanks and is about 4 hours each way. That stupid flickering text better be a bug and not an inserted effect.
