One question I had about this season is: what did Carrie do to Elise that caused Elise to hate her so much? From what was shown in the edit, Elise seemed to view Carrie as the devil incarnate, like the worst chef to ever enter Hell's Kitchen or something. I remember in, I think it was the second episode, they were paired up and didn't end up working well. But after that, almost every confessional from Elise was about how awful Carrie was, how she's just the worst person to set foot in HK, and on and on. And all I'm wondering is: did we miss something in the edit, because a lot of it seemed so unprompted or blown out of proportion.

Some people just don't like each other, which is understandable cuz there's a lot of people out there, the difference is if you try to work ignoring that cuz this show is about cooking and not making friends or if you go in for that person and blame them for everything, which is what Elise did for no apparent reason

Elise was absolutely unbearable, I literally couldn't finish the season cause she pissed me off so much and I literally looked up who won so I could feel happy she didn't win 😭

Same. First time I didn't finish a season and it was also the last season I watched any amount of at all (the drama, fakeness and repetitive sound effects became too much for me). When I re-watch the show, I watch up until the season with Elise and then stop, lol.

I finished it, but it was definitely a struggle because of how detestable Elise was.

im a fan of Elise. A villian type on these shows can be fun and she backs it up as one of the better cooks. She should have been more supportive of the 1st girl, but Elise did ALSO win a point. the people i dont like are the ones that play favorites and thats why the next couple dishes sucked.

That's why I always despised team assignments in school... I can only control my own actions, not everyone else's, yet I would be judged on THEIR choices, my own be damned. Best chefs get the reward would definitely be the fair way or doing it but would result in much less drama, which is clearly unacceptable xP.

Krupa got really drunk the previous night so she went into the challenge hungover-the last thing anyone would want to see in that state is more alcohol

They should have put Carrie's dish higher. It would have won against some of the better blue dishes and one of the less impressive red dishes would have definitey beaten Paul's bitter broth.

I think Johnathan has a LOT of potential. Not that I know anything though. His passion for fruit is something interesting to say the least.

Like Barbie and Sterling, Elise and the Red Team bullied Carrie. Elise was notorious. She was disgusting.
It was because Carrie was a weak chef. She had maybe 2 good challenge dishes and one good service, that was it. Elise was wildly inconsistent in services herself and had an attitude problem yet Carrie was too overconfident about her skills.
It’s a crime that Will didn’t win this season
