Bought my 2006 in august 2017. Mine sliver, dark tintwindows like this one hood guard ,sunroof guard, no rips n my leather seats alphine stero i can sync my phone too. no scratches no dents immaculate. Love my baby and always love the muranos.
My 2004 Murano is still going strong over 226731++KM (drive train replacement under warranty + other wear & tear parts) on platinum service package, never fail to get him the 4x oil change + 27 point inspection from the original dealer.
We own a 2006 Murano and it only has 65,000 miles on it. Several Nissan models (including our Murano) suffer from the infamous leaking high pressure power steering hose. I just replaced the bad struts and the right front CV axle. We haven't really had a lot of problems with it but I hear they start to have major engine issues after 100K miles. Problem areas for the Murano are the driver's seat frame cracks, high pressure power steering hose is defective, VQ35 timing chain tensioner guide (it's plastic so it will break), camshaft and crankshaft sensor failures, etc. Also, the CVT transmission has a bad reputation in this car.
BUYERS BEWARE! I am so glad we purchased an extended warranty because the TRANSMISSION went out at 115,000 miles. Also, alternator went out a week after we bought it with 100,000 miles on it. When we were getting it fixed we found out the 4 wheel drive wasn't even working either so they had to fix that as well. Avoid it! We are stuck with it!
Mary Cruz Wow srry to hear, yet I would not put it past the dealer to tell you something else wrong, to charge you, Because they lost out by fixin Ur tranny with the extendid warranty. Never trust, and read poster above on the common probs to avoid. I really like this car but going to look for used lexus RX instead.
I suppose the AWD is nice to have for snow and ice but it's expensive to fix when it does break. Most people don't need AWD so I don't know why it's so popular?
Look under your Murano! There was so much rust within 2 years! When I got my last oil changed, the guy bought me big rust chunks and said he could've put his pin through it. Took it to a mechanic, he said he sees it all the time in Nissan's and there is no fix other than replacement. He refused and said take it to the dealership. Dealership said "Yeah, it's common but there hasn't been enough complaints to recall and quoted me $5,500". Search the web, rusted under carriage is very common and dangerous. I traded it in at another Nissan dealership, now it's their problem!
Still love my 2009 Nissan Murano even though it has 110,000 miles on it, but it's starting to show its age with the AC now no longer working, suspect its the compressor. Also the rear alignment bolts need to be fixed as I can no longer do the rear alignment. But mine still drives very well.
I have a late model 19 Murano that i bought new in Jan 2020 literally right before covid hit. Now ive got 60K and have not had a problem and still really like my Murano. Has anyone heard of a Murano owner getting 300K on theirs with the original engine and tranny?
My little murano is struggling now i think (not very familiar with car stuff), awesome mileage at 175k but she's kinda staggering having spark plug issues, guzzling oil, etc and had to have her repaired a few times. Would love some tips because I've become attached. Lolll
I think your right Dumpy Loo. someone did not take good care of it. Your Dad see's the value of taking care of his vehicles. Some people just drive cars and don't give a care about them. thanks for watching tho! Chad
I have an 05 and it won't start. I just replaced the battery alternator and the crankshaft position sensor. Nothing else is coming up anybody have any ideas of what it can be?
I did replace the battery. I assume they checked the cords to it. I did not replace the starter because noone thought it was that in the beginning they r only saying it now after I've already done the other things so I don't want to fix things blindly and it might not be the problem
You need to find a good local mechanic with experience on electrical troubleshooting. Not because they have a big ass shop on the side of the road that they hire a full-armed mechanic. Always get 2nd opinion on a reputable mechanic there's just a few of them but it's worth it to find one.
I have a Nissan murano 2004 anytime when I move it for about 50km when the engine get hot is like the engine is not pulling but five to eight seconds it move with a force and about very five to ten minute it do the same think but if you off it till the next day you can drive the same the same 50 km before it star so I don't know what is the problem if someone can give me an I dear of what is happening to it. I will very happy thank you for reading my massage.
Joseph Tibetier My dad bought one from a mechanic same problem check the battery make sure it's tight when it gets loose the motor start losing power the battery tends to get loses a lot on these
No, I took over my wifes 06 Murano and luckily got the CVT replaced under Nissan's extended-extendted 120k plan. Apparently Nissan's Jetco brand CVT's are still sub-par, Toyota's are supposed to be bullet proof. With 150K, aside from struts IIRC the wife had replaced years ago, its only now starting to get techy. Just replaced cam position sensors for like the second time I think, might as well replace the crank pos sensor since I bought all of them from Rock Auto. Go for their mid-grade, the cheapo one's I originally bought were shite. Right now burning about 1-1.5 qts of oil 3-4K miles, however look to be getting 23-34mpg on cruise at 65. I wouldn't buy another Nissan with CVT. It does go through rotors and pads more than normal, rotors always seem to warp a little and need replacing every second brake job if you're lucky. I'm thinking of selling it, however for $3000-3500 max, its not really worth it. I'll just add a hitch to it and run it until its dead.

I've had my 2005 MO since 2005 and he still runs like a clock. 217K miles on him now!! I'd buy another in a HEARTBEAT!
John Hart mines an 04 an it has 238k on it and she's still pushing on but ive had to change the alternator 2 times now the past 5 or 6 years
Thats cute. My old Murano has 290km
thx for the breakdown. Going to get one used with 175k on it until I get my 2016 Altima SL fixed.
I’m pretty sure Murano is a girl lol
@@ARUclipsChannelwithNoName Nope...his name is Murray.

I have a 2007 Nissan Murano with over 206,000 miles and I drive it like a TrackHawk.
$7000 for a 2006 Murano with 150,000 miles on it? Wow I hope you guys aren't even trying to get half of that, otherwise it will never sell.
Thats dealerships for u
Hah, got an 07 w 153k miles on it for 6500 back in 2017. And then I thought that was a BAD deal.
Ripoff
exactly what I was thinking, total rip off

that car must have been abused because my dad has one and the seats aren't even ripped and it is really clean
I think your right Dumpy Loo. someone did not take good care of it. Your Dad see's the value of taking care of his vehicles. Some people just drive cars and don't give a care about them. thanks for watching tho! Chad
Well besides that it looks really nice
It could just be a heavyweight driver. No disrespect though..
Does anyone know what is the button on the reverse light is for?? Let me know please
You for got to show the back side behind the backseat to see how much room it has
since when nissan was killed by renault? are this models pre renault?
My Nissan Murano is 2006, is pulling ... I want to know if you. Can tell me was going on .. Thanks for your time
Would $1200 dollars for this car in today’s date be a good price? I’ve found one for that price but am somewhat hesitant.
Where did you get that offer? I'm planning to get one but don't know where to get it.
That's cheap
That's too cheap beware of issues like transmission issues and stuff like that
$3500 is a more reasonable price

Nice looking car but beware of major engine issues!

People don't take care of their vehicles anymore. They are just throw away items as with everything else.
