There's one more reason why I think I love Mr. Sunshine. It makes me remember my country's own history when we were colonized by Spain. The pain, the struggle and etc. A lot of countries that were colonized by another country would definitely relate.
Since Mr. Sunshine aired, I have listened to this magnificent song a lot of times, each of which I catch myself stopping everything I do, in order to focus on the melody and Yuna's marvelous performance! Perfect, perfect!
The first line is crucial to the song but translated wrong... its opening line = "a place i cant stay, just like my feelings thats been revealed" Which is why i believe this song befits dongmae the most. He knows he can never be with aeshin physically, just like how his feeling for also have no place in joseon. The rest of the lyrics work well with his character, its heartbreaking. Him shooting her leg to protect her.. sacrificing himself.. definitely a tragic/painful love. I think this song is a conversation between Dongmae and Aeshin. Dongmae talks to Aeshin, and then Aeshin responds to him in this song lyrics. They did not have chances to talk with , instead of the talk chances the. OSTs revealed their emotions.
In my opinion this is what dongmae actually wants to say to aeshin if he had the courage 1:27-1:56 definitely is what dong Mae feels towards aeshin for being mean to her as he doesn’t know how to express his love.
Honestly, out of all the OSTs this one was the most fitting. It's such a shame that they didn't use this in crucial moments of the drama. That part was honestly a let down but everything else about that drama was fantastic

I think it was first played in a scene with Kim Hui-Seong and then also used for Dong Mae's. I think it fits with both these character's fates and their relationship towards Ae-Sin. It's so heartbreaking :(

In her final soliloquy, she said; _"My English still hasn't improved much . . ."_ I take from that she had no longer the impetus to better her English-she had loved; who had departed.
