the scenes in Geoje Island are one of the saddest scenes in the drama. Ji Ah have to put up an act that she doesn't know him and that she doesn't care about him when in fact she wanted to run towards his arms and hug him tightly so much. Her eyes shows how tired she is of putting an act and how painful it is to set his loved one away. Whereas, Min Kyu has this helplessness and hopelessness in him in which you can thoroughly see pain, sadness, hurt, and at the same time happiness in his eyes. He doesn't know why being with Ji Ah feels so great and comforting because she is actually Aji 3 whom he loves. He's like wandering around and innocently looking for an answer to his questions. He is very hopeless yet he still do whatever it takes even if Ji Ah keeps pushing him away and even if everyone around him keeps lying to him. Damn, this is such a perfect drama. It's been 4 years but still the best.

The recap (first of three parts) did such a good job I decided to check it out. What a revelation! I would not have picked this from the title and thumbnail on Netflix, and it would’ve been a tremendous loss for me not watching it.
This song fits Ji A's character story. She always always wanted to tell the truth to Min Kyu but keep swallowing it. She wanted to tell him the words of her heart but cant. She is loving someone who beliwves it all an illusion. Look how painful it is to be loved by someone thinking you are a robot. She gets hurt silently. On the other hand, this is also Min Kyu's character song. He has always wanted to tell he loves Aji 3 but cant tell because of the thought that he is loving a robot who doesnt have an emotion. While he is loving Aji 3, he gets hurt silently because he thinks that he is loving in an ilussion where his love would never be given back. Both of them are hurt silently while loving.
