The hotels destry fishermens possibility for fishing and ofcourse the sea will be poluted. I do not live there but I have seen whats happening in some countries. Its obvious building vertically can be the most reasonable way to use limited land properly. Of course, the city planners must integrate environmental friendly and sustainable concepts, which will be good for all.

Google Nairobi CBD(which is what you see) then google Westlands, Upper hill, and Ngong road drone shots. After that put its 5 districts together then compare it with Dar. Stop dreaming. They are talking population not the infrastructure in this video.
